| Dude you were busy, making this long ass pole. I voted Fruits Basket: The Final. Winter was 8/10 for me, with anime like Re:zero, Mushoku Tensei, Healer hero and several others. Spring was a 10/10, Fruits Basket, Fumetsu no Anata e and Hige wo Soru were brilliant. Summer was a 9/10, with Vsnitas no karte Heion sedai and Mo Dao Zu Shi. Fall I've only just started, but my expectations are as high as they should be. |

| Even with the many options of the OP's poll, ironically it's missing the one title which I personally thought I have enjoyed the most this year which is "Banished from the Hero's Party, I Decided to Live a Quiet Life in the Countryside". Mainly because it was an original twist of a generic themed fantasy Anime which also manages to fall short of actually being included into the "Isekai" camp. I have a soft spot for slice of life romances that aren't typically just harems and enjoy the fantasy world it revolves in. This titles still managed to throw in a good amount of action and adventure while keeping the romance mostly implied with out having the entire story completely focused and revolve around just the relationship between the two main characters. When I 1st read about "Banished from the Hero's Party, I Decided to Live a Quiet Life in the Countryside", I was extremely curious how the hell they would pull a title like this off and make it interesting enough since it's basically like watching a show about a married couple in a fantasy world. "Banished from the Hero's Party, I Decided to Live a Quiet Life in the Countryside" gets my vote for AOTY! |

| Mushoku Tensei was my favorite of the year, and it's the winner of the pool it would seem. It was hard to like AoT knowing how it will end thanks to the author ruining the manga. Re:Zero only has 4% of the votes? I was expecting more. Talk about fall from grace! |

| Mushoku Tensei as indicated by the profile pic, bio, favorites list is my favorite of the year. A genuine surprise given how at the start of 2021, the LNs were in my dropped list because of Rudeus like for other people. Didn't even like the first few episodes in first watch either but it did grow on me as it progressed, especially after giving the LNs a second chance and the series slowly went from bad to good to great to one of my favorite series out there. It's a great mix of slice of life and adventure, balanced interactions, flawed characters, tremendous production and genuinely felt like a love letter and passion project to complement the novels well. Details like additional languages, multiple openings and using them to show off the journey in a condensed format visually instead of a repeated sequence, and much more to love. Other anime that were great to me this year were Link Click, Iruma-kun S2, Kingdom S3 and some cases like Odd Taxi/Yuru Camp S2 being good but not top-tier of the year for me. |
