Maou-sama, the final show of the Summer season has finally arrived! 20 episodes long, but I'm fine with it! https://twitter.com/AIR_News01/status/1421429612865744897?s=19 A great OP and good ED (by Hololive Vtubers Subaru, Aqua and Nene) for a start, this is another GanGan Joker adaptation alongside Vanitas. To adapt the first few chapters with snippets of the oneshot, this is already looking great. I could get used to VA Naomi Oozora (who voices Uzaki) voicing the Great demon girl Jahy, who lost her mana crystal (that grants her demonic powers) to a magical girl, and fate befalls her into Earth, shrunk down to a young girl's size. But with her limited mana crystal powers through the necklace she has, she can turn herself into an adult...only for a short moment with her part-time job being an Izakaya waitress. The store manager doesn't look so fazed, even with Jahy's childish threatening and her eventual childlike look, for a motherly treatment. Trying to fight with the landlady Ryou over paying rent for living expenses? No can do for Jahy, her funds are constantly depleted over having to juggle between food and rent. So the only choice is to escape from her with an excuse (that does not go flying for long), and the sister (which is the store manager) solved that amicably. The Great Jahy finding her lost mana crystal necklace, and the good thing that's it's with the store manager. The fact that she's wearing Jahy's mana crystal necklace that Jahy left at work...is not attributed to her own small misfortunes. but teaching Jahy-sama human values, even if she vehemently denies it in embarrassment. A pretty great start! The long wait is worth it. |

| I think the OP song is cute with a catchy tune. Funniest part of the show is how they protray Jahy in this show. Now without powers in the human world, she has to adapt even it means waiting tables. Her personality is amusing to watch just for the reactions. They didn't waste much time jumping into the main story premise of this. Should be a fun season. |

| The opening is sang by Hololive members. I'm a big Hololive fan but don't really watch the ones that sang the OP and ED ^ but still pretty good. I've read the manga beforehand and the only thing I can say is, that it is a pretty good first episode. Jahy's VA is pretty good for her mini character. And the other VA's are fine too. Can't wait for more episodes. The bond between Jahy and the owner is wholesome compared to the Landlord xD |

| That was so adorable. Jahy is going to be one of my favorite characters of this season. She's so cute and funny. Nice OP/ED. The opening was especially catchy. The animation is good enough. There's nothing to complain about. A very good start. 19 episodes left. That's awesome. |

| Very great first episode. This gonna be another masterpiece of the season for sure. Jahy-sama's life in the human world was very harsh, but, at least she was able to find a very nice store manager to work with. She is also cute and pretty amusing to watch. |

| The animation is really meh but it doesn't matter much for a slice of life anime, the 1st episode was really cool, I hope it will stay as fun and entertaining as the manga, and great thing it has 20 episodes, I'm hyped now. |

| Perfect episode 1. First of all, perfect casting. Naomi Oozora is perfect with these types of characters and casting Kayano as Tenchou and Hikasa as Ryou is, while generic, a perfect selection as well. I enjoyed the story as well. The jokes were funny and the tempo was good too. I just hope they have enough material to keep it entertaining for 2 cour. Animation looked decent for Silver Link, and again, hopefully they can keep up that quality for 2 seasons. With more characters to come, I'm most definitely looking forward to future episodes. |

| Solid first episode. Jahy-sama is really amusing to watch, and the antics with the Manager and the Landlady was fairly entertaining too. I knew this’d be comedy-centred but not to this extent, here’s to hoping there’ll be enough gags to keep things fun for 19 more episodes. |

| What an underhanded and bad person that magical girl was, she just barged in and destroyed the magic crystal. I need to see justice served to her. Jahy seems like an amusing protag. The manager and landlord are both fun characters too. Interactions between characters were fun too. Liked the premise, looking forward to more. |

| Jahy is too full of herself to someone that lost to a magical girl who didn't used violence, and worst had her weakness just behind her without any protection. Im not very into this one, but will give more chance, just because of Aqua, Nene ,and Subaru, bestowed their blessing. |

| Well, one thing is absolutely certain: Naomi Oozora is bringing her best Satania energy to her Jahy performance, and it's absolutely fantastic. Yoko Hikasa also seems a great casting for the landlord so far, and the dynamic between her and Jahy feels very reminiscent of the Jashin-Yurine dynamic in Jashin-chan (only without Jahy actually attempting murder). In terms of comedy, this is definitely something I'm vibing with already and I'm excited for 20 episodes of this. |

| Jahy-sama has finally arrived and this show makes up for not having Nagatoro-san on Saturdays anymore. So basically Jahy-sama is trapped in the real world after her mana crystal was shattered by a powerful magical user. Jahy is forced to live in a run down apartment while working part-time in a local bar. She seems to not have a good grasp on how the real world works since she thinks she's a demon lord. Jahy got into a fight with her land lord, but luckily the landlord's sister who happens to be Jahy's boss at her part-time job was there to help her. Life in the real world is not going to be easy for Jahy, but that's only because she's being very arrogant. |

| Hmmm old onee-san Jahy just might be under my strike zone. giri giri safe lol (jk don't call me a pedo pls). the ara ara nee san though that's a whole another story. anyways Jahy is so cute and i am definitely watching this. also, can someone tell me if the manga's worth. i might pick it up!! This is reminding me of Hataraku Maou-sama but with a complete female cast. This had some amusing moments, I really liked the bar manager and the fight between the landlady and Jahy was fun. The manager listing the bad luck she has been having did make me laugh considering how minuscular they were. |

| Fun opening, though I don't have much hope for this. That being said I do think it has potential. I found this ep to be a little boring and slightly all over the place. But hopefully it will get better especially since it will have 20 episodes |
| So basically Hataraku Maou-sama! but without genocide and featuring a cute dark skinned loli as MC. Not gonna lie, I actually enjoyed this first episode quite a lot. Jahy's character isn't annoying in the slightest and I find her grown up version hot af. Store Manager will most likely become my favorite character in this show tho. She's so perfect~ So in the end, this will be 20 episodes long, huh? Such a pleasant surprise. P.S.: While I'm not that familiar with Hololive JP, the ED song was indeed pretty decent. Didn't know Subaru could sing tho xD |

| Jahy's boss is such a kind-hearted person. I wish all bosses were like her. About the episode, I don't really have any expectations, whether high or low, as I haven't read the manga; however, as it is a slice of life about a superhuman creature that must adapt to the human world, the plot kind of reminded me of Dragon Maid, which is my favorite anime, and that caught my eye. So far, I've had a smile on my face during the entire episode, and the comical situations, although absurd, made me laugh. We'll see how this show progresses, and it'll be a pleasure discussing it with y'all. |
