| Okay, everything went better than expected. At first I was about to start swearing again, like I've did while watching no other anime, but the claymores survived it. But seriously, this anime has the potential to enrage me beyond any limits -.- The fight scenes were done great this time, I have no complaints at all. Also, good explanation on the male yomas. Very good one. There's still one more sequential part to these two we just watched. I wonder what it is that it has to offer. |

| Holy FCK, Deneve got destroyed with just his tongue. Holy macaroni, what an amazing battle. The final scene with Miria and Clare just taking him down together was so nice! Clare needs to train A LOT but damn she's good. |

| Mixed feelings on this episode... it's like, really really serious and cool, then turns unintentionally funny for a minute. First, the background music was just going all over the place. Like the musicians decided to do whatever if it wasn't time for some badass metal music during a fight. Second, there can't be male Claymores because men are too horny. I'd spoiled it for myself, but hearing them actually say it was almost funny... until the Awakened Being held a woman down and jammed his oddly phallic tongue into her stomach slit. I believe them now. Third, when Miria figures out Clare's power, why does she just stand there for a full minute monologuing about it while the monster is listening? She just stated Clare's weaknesses. Didn't she realize that, you know, the monster might take advantage of that knowledge? In the end, the Claymores epically slayed the disgusting horny monster while metal music played, and that's why I'm watching this show. |
