| I think I would be one of those cheap polyester folding chairs (the ones with the mesh cup holder in the armrest). As for why, I love being outside and traveling, and that's what they're usually used for. I own a lot of these chairs, and they've been with me camping, to the beach, and to a lot of different fun places and events. That sounds better to me than being stuck in a house all the time. |

| I think I'd prefer to be a (work) desk. I wouldn't get too dirty, but people would aim to keep the thing on or in me clean and organized. I would be the symbol of "You need to get your sh** together" and hopefully serve as a part of the pathway to a person's success... or burnout. But if tired, someone could take a short nap on me, and that would be fine. I don't mind being a temporary comfort in that sense, but when when they wake up, I'm still there to support them in whatever they're trying to do. Additionally, hopefully on the inside I can carry important things for you and keep them out of plain sight from prying eyes. Yet I'd also like to keep the miscellaneous things that bring you joy in me too. Pretty much, desks have everything you need if you want them to (except maybe food unless you stash snacks in there). A desk is like that friend who helps move you forward but, in some way, serves as a comfort. Whether you're drawing on a desk for fun, watching anime on it, actually doing work, or doing homework, the desk can help you have that solid space that gets you in the zone (through good and bad). So I would prefer to be a (work) desk. |
