| I don't think Aki is dead yet. It said antemortem which means before death. Plus Future Devil said Denji would kill him. My guess is Denji will be forced to kill him because he's under Makima's control. |

| Don't have much to comment on the on-goings but I will say the decision to literally list of the names killed by the Gun Devil throughout these massive panels has been a really great way of absolutely selling the on-going massacre. |

| Jesus that was insane, loved the way it counted down in seconds whilst telling us what happened. Also did we learn what was behind the door? I assumed it was Pochita in his actual devil form, but I don't remember if that was revealed to us. |

| So, since the Gun Devil is 'fragmented' and owned in part by the US, the Soviets, China, and some other smaller countries, I assume that works the same way as a devil contract, and anyone with a large enough chunk can summon the Gun Devil with enough sacrifices or offerings (in this instance, one year of the lifespans of all US citizens). |

| I didn't bother with reading all the names of people who died, but my guts feeling were right when I found out the panel where Aki and Angel chained to Makima, Aki's name was on that list of casualties. |

| I wonder if there's a reason why the gun devil wouldn't just shoot everybody, but only people selected by a certain criteria. Like in the previous chapter, he shot men and children, but not women, and in this chapter he shot people born in the majority of months, but not the ones born for example in October or in April. Also, it looks like Makima is going to sacrifice Aki after all 😭 (don't really care about the other ones lol) |

Both the kanji for 4 (四, shi) and 7 (七, shichi) have the syllable "shi" in them which came from the original Chinese reading and made them sound like the kanji for death, 死 (likewise in Chinese).
