| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Cool, we got the OVA before season 2 premiere next season but it's a wonderful premiere again uniting the common themes of the show. Nice to see most of the cast back but I'm surprised they gave the adults more time to shine. Looks like OVA is divided into two parts with the second half focusing more on Mein's side with some stuff about clothes making. The lighthearted comedy continues to entertain imo even in this OVA. |

| More Bookworm is always great and this increased my hype for the next season. Poor Eustachius couldn't fool anyone downtown. He seems to be an interesting character and Myne seem to have caught his attention. I wonder if he'll play an important part in season 2. Spring can't come too soon!!! |

| The First Part was clearly a 7... Just Good... But the Second Part was Incredible.... a 9, almost 10... It is incredible and Sad at the same, that this OVA in less than 30minutes was SO MUCH Better and entertaining, than many series in this season... Maybe not the Waifu of the Season, but at least in Top 5 with this OVA. PS: I really missed the OP Song<3 |

| The first part was meh but the second part was great. It was fun watching Myne negotiating with Benno about the price lol. Also nice Corrina and Otto will have a baby, that's sweet. |

| Great episode, especially the second part! Maine negotiating and his family getting to see it from the front row seat was pretty awesome to see! Sweet that Corrina and Otto-san are expecting a child soon too, and Turi and their mother rehearsing in advance to the fateful meetup was very adorable to see as well. I wonder if we'll see the spy (?) from the first part in the upcoming second season though. Seeing that lady pour the toilet water out of the house just reminded me that they were living in dire straits, got to feel bad for that second dude lol. Overall, it was fun and a nice little freshener before Season 2! 7/10. |

| This was a great episode. It was nice hearing the OP again. Man, I miss this show. The first part was meh while the second part was great. Myne and Benno negotiating a price for the hair ornament was nice to see. Myne learned a lot from Benno. 7/10. Looking forward to season 2. |

| The first part is more tailored towards fans who already knows of the two characters here. I doubt peoples who don't know them could enjoy that part really well. Really, the voice acting for Eustachius makes me regret that we won't see him in the second season, it was perfect. Also, no one is pointing it out, but that parts reveals that the errr... "duty" that Otto remembered having to do with his wife after she washed her hair with Myne's shampoo gave some results. But lol, Eustachius is such a great spy when it comes to spying on noble unnoticed, but he's got no idea about how the commoner part of the town works during this job, making look quite the fool (that he isn't). Elkhart is a soldier before anything so really expecting anything from him in that job was pointless ~ Second part was hilarious with the massive stress from her family in front of Corinna. Very enjoyable OAV overall. And let's pray to Dreharngur for more side stories OVA indeed! |

It was funny, how no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't get the information he needed. And as someone who have family in city and countryside I can relate to some degree to that green haired guy. Also now I wonder when/if we see this book that he bought again (after his reaction it seems important) and for me it was hilarious that Myne now could easily buy this book if she didn't forgot about it. Certainly it was a wink to viewers who remembered this book. ;) |

| NGL I only just found out there's a sequel manga (Part 2 of the manga which IMO ties into Part 2 of the anime). From the looks of it, this OVA doesn't cover that, but nonetheless it's a good filler all on its own. Part 1 on the spying Eustachius. Finding out about Myne's papermaking studio, even through disguise just seems somewhat of a disaster. The well-established townsfolk, even with the kids know of her Devouring state, saw through his trickster state. Even he picked up the book that Myne was dying to take a look of when she saw at first glance. Will he meet Myne, we will never know. Kinda of a downer... Part 2 on Myne and her summoning to Missus Corinna (Merchant Benno's sister)...obviously for business reasons. But this business is not "business as usual" but a special one for grant that Turi's family is flustered about this and totally freaked out. As expected, Myne will NOT let go of when it comes to making money, and adding Benno into the mix takes a lot of heart and laughter from the main series. "Hah, now try to fight from the merchant who taught you business in the first place, and backstab him with that!" was Myne's train of thought as a negotiator. Nonetheless it all worked out well in the same hilarious state that's plentiful of the series' usual shenanigans. Nice hearing the OP/ED again, brought back the memories of the last season. |

| Strange that crunchyroll made it into 2 parts, but second part was far superior! It's always nice to see Myne going head to head with Benno negotiating! Also Turi/Eva's excitement when they met Corinna was also nice to watch, now I can't wait for the second season! |

| I find it so hilarious how Myne's family most likely never even saw any gold coins before Urano but after she earns and spends the large ones nilly willy. |
| First half was pretty meh, i was definitely going to give it a 6 that part continued but the second half was pretty entertaining. Main's negotiating tactics/skills was an eye opening for the family and in the end justifying to them the price she demanded. 7/10 |

| I'm not sure at all what's the point of that cleanfreak noble on the first half and I don't want to see him again ever and so he deserved that horseshit. As for Eustachius, I kinda like how hardworking that guy, although he didn't get that much luck as the whole downtown was ganging up on him, even the kids XD I liked the 2nd half less honestly, well it's good that they fleshed out Corrina's side story. I think its a fine episode. |

| It's so hard to rate these sorts of episodes because the first half was meh/fine. I don't really give a shit about those two snobs and the whole thing was pretty nefarious with them breaking into the guild with no comeuppance. But the second half was great, I loved it. It's always great to see Myne stand up for her interests and her negotiation was fun to watch. That's what I love about this show. First half is a 5 or 6 and the second half is a 9 for me. So I guess it evens out to a 7/10. |

| The animation was really stiff and ugly. Plus Mine's eye space kept expanding to the point of looking weird. On top of that, nothing really happened to make it stick out. |

But they're Arc 3+ characters; so if a third anime season would only cover the second half of arc 2 (as in, 12 episodes for season 3), they would still not be here. |

Upcoming businesswoman Main strikes again! showing both her sister Turi and mother a side they haven't seen before, man if her dad was there he would probably be bursting in tears over how his little girl has grown so much... to the point of being able to negotiate with a veteran merchant.... |

| Well, I have no idea, how this town is so good at seeing suspicious people in these spies.. I mean, his disguise was nice, really, and he had understandable reason to meet her - that she helped him.. So no idea, really, why everyone are so good with suspicious people.. ;P Eh, I don't think that trying to enter merchants' guild at night is a good idea.. I have no idea, how they didn't get caught.. I mean, it's a freaking bank pretty much.. Is security really that bad?.. Or they're professional burglars?.. lol, how Myne's family reacts to the business talk between Benno and Myne.. But well, I mean, Myne needs money as well.. Both for her family, and for new inventions.. |
| To think I forgot to watch this chronologically between the 2 season. I actually enjoyed side story like this especially if it's in the adaptation since it gives more explanation to their day to day lives. To think some of them were probably skipped and only this was one realized was a bad move. They should animate it all!!! 😤 |
| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
| These nobles though... can't even get a speck of information about someone and they deem themselves so high and mighty. Second half was fun, just shows how great Myne has became in negotiating from the person who literally taught her those things lmao. And yes Otto did become father after that day( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). |

| These nobles suck at intelligence gathering but at least the other one is better at it than that dude who can't handle commoner stench. Benno's getting the same treatment in trade negotiation like he would do it to himself heck he has trained Myne well for it. |
