According to the power of illustration cover, Uzoi & Haitori shoud get along later with Somali & her dad. Bit of a drama right now though, but this shall not turn into a bloodbath

Loved the idea of a sand sea, this is both ironic and very original

What I really liked here is that you can understand every character's feelings, so it feels so reasonable. She wants to help her teacher, the one who has been there for her, their relationship is sorta like Golem and Somali, but older. So it's understandable why she'd jump at the chance. But it was also nice to see that he didn't want to do it too. Touching stuff.

Another visually gorgeous episode. Not sure I'm ready to deal with Haitori's utterly fucked up backstory yet, but I guess I have a whole week to prepare myself.

Some heavy stuff this episode was. It's okay at the start, but it feels like watching a ticking time bomb at some point.

Though not very likely, it would be a kinda interesting turn of events if Haitora's illness has to do with Uzoi being near him and the only solution would be for her to stay away from the person she "loves" the most.

Anyways, leaving that aside, it was another nice episode overall. Things took a bit darker turn this time, which is nice so I look forward to seeing how this issue regarding Haitora will conclude.

And on a side note, Uzoi has such a cool design and I would like to see more of her but please, don't hurt little Somali.

good episode, I didn’t expect a human to show up now, we’re finally having some real problems for the characters to deal with, the next episode will be very serious.

I have a feeling that haitora is really uzoi's father and for some reason if a human mates with another race the mother and father get sick.

This was a tense episode. I guess we'll see what Golem San will do once he finds out Somali's in danger

We don't know what kind of people we truly are until the moment before our deaths.
As death comes to embrace you, you will realise what you are.
That's what death is, don't you think?

Man, watching 7 episodes of different anime for one day is tough, but I always save the best for last, and this was a great episode as always.

My favourite part was when Uzoi fully showed her harpy feathers... I thought she looked majestic (even if she was trying to do something bad),

I've only read until what happens next to them and what happened to Haitora and Uzoi in the manga, so everything after the next episode will be new to me. I hpe the future episodes and the ending will continue to be good as the current episodes.

Now it's getting pretty good. The drink sharing custom was very charming and finally Somali isn't the obnoxious character she was when she disobeys the Golem, at least for now.

This anime's world building and character design is fucking flawless. I wish more fantasy anime took this approach instead of the usual only humanized fantasy garbage we get these days.

Uzoi's design is amazing, I mean, just look at this shot

Kinda excited that we finally see another human, but damn, seems like things were rough for him.

The desert heavily reminds me of Final Fantasy X desert with all those huge monsters and stuff!

Somali and Golem Dad are on their way out of Anthole Town, but with the stuff picked up, certainly memories will live on.

Travelling again from one town to another, and meeting wandering birds Uzoi and Haitora along the way. One pair finding medicine for cures, and the other, humans to being Somali back to her roots. Regardless, with Uzoi's relentless bantering, there's a reason behind this: with Haitora being a former human, and Uzoi wanting to kidnap Somali to cure him. The red flags are in-bound anytime...

With that, the journey still goes on as usual, but being mindful of the outside danger. But it's clear why both Uzoi and Haitora clearly take over their journeying partners. And when the action is clear, Golem Dad is made clear of the situation, and definitely is NOT happy about it.

Clearly a very dire situation, and definitely aniticpating the next episode!

But why is Haitora turning/dying into harpy? I mean, Uzoi loves him even if he is human. Im sure that there will be some sort of answer, but still.

So Uzoi's situation described what can happen to Somali if she finds out that the Golem is dying. Chilling. Can't wait to see how it impacts Somali.

Really classic, there's that weary realness to every character, they aren't human but they feel 200% more human than most anime characters.

We're starting to get to the point of blatant emotional manipulation, which is disappointing but not hugely surprising. There's also the fact that this episode highlights how stupid it is that only two characters have seen through Somali's "disguise" so far: Haitora's disguise is much better at its job than Somali's, to say the least.

After 4 boring and fillers episodes, finally something relevant happens. Uzoi is going to kill Somali to save Haitori. I just realize that Somali's disguise reveals a lot of her race unlike Haitora's disguise.

I knew he was human the moment she was shocked then sad and gave Somali the icecream.
Good to see there are more humans than Somali.
I feel bad for the both of them but i can't accept that an innocent child need to die just for a "might cure".

Haitora and Uzoi feels similiar to Somali and Golem's situation. Been worrying for someone to find out about Somali but didn't thought with this duo they would do something bad, no wonder they didn't reveal Haitora being human with his disease (probably related to Harpy species).

So the harpy wants to save her boyfriend for something that happened to him while they were having their two races love. Im guessing her genes or something don't mix well with his and is slowly trying to take him over from the inside out...Causing him to slowly die.
