| Not very surprised but damn glad and relieved!! Early in I said .I want everything returned to Null!! She is my lesbian princess dont fucking mess around with her!! She finally woke up and both sisters got the greatest reward they could ever have!! Very heartwarming and one of the better short time anime I have seen! Really looking forward to the last episode.Keep it pure and the ten is yours!!  |

| Another underrated show for this season, not like it is a masterpiece but it did a great job with the hints and foreshadowing, there was always something off and the payoff was done well, that hug got me ready to cry. |

| I did see a ton of people guessing that Null was actually the one hit by the truck. I did believe the idea that she was in a coma, and I even questioned how she knew the car that hit her sister without being there, which this would explain as she was the one hit by it. I thought it may not be that simple at first, that Null being left alone in this world for so long had her rationalize it this way as it was the only answer that made sense. This was largely because we saw Null say goodbye to Peta as she was left at home. But with Null chasing after Peta and getting hit, that makes sense. She also confirmed that the odd dreams she was having was in fact a slow realization of reality. Facing her own reality woke her up and this gives a good lens to watch the series through again on a second viewing. The snowcone girl is an interesting person to ponder, as is why exactly Null formed reality like this in her head with flowers to denote where Peta would have died. It does give Peta stopping the truck and saving Null another meaning, one that more closely reflects reality. Overall everything was supposedly created by her so it should all have a meaning to her. Why even make Peta a robot and not just create her existing alongside Null to begin with? I will say though, I’m a little sad that this somewhat takes away the themes of humanity in AI, the whole talk about deleting and reprogramming Peta or the warmth Peta would show or moments where she seemed to remember things before she was created may have just been somewhat thrown away. Lastly, just, wow, the whole act of Null questioning what being a good girl even means and doing everything she was asked as if it would somehow bring Peta back was so sad. What a childishly sad thing to do. |
