| Just to clarify, "dumb" doesn't always mean bad. It's entirely possible to have a really good anime even with a dumb premise/plotline/character/etc... Dumb can mean stupid, silly, really edgy, immature, or absurd if you want for me, the Japanese government building aircraft carriers and using them as girls' schools and replacing normal sports with them driving tanks and battling is a perfect example. Great show tho |

| For me that has to be chio's school road I never believe they can stretch a paper thin premise even more than that across a 12 episode anime series.Also another one anime I forgot the name of, but consisted of two girls talking on the railroad,that was all there was to it. |

That one is Fumikiri Jikan and it's a collection of short stories from different characters as they wait for the railroad. The episodes are 3 minutes long or so, so it's not outrageous at all. A couple quirky characters every week having a conversation and that's pretty much the whole show. As for Chio-chan think of it as a gag anime that simply expands on that premise for an absurd slice of life with quirky characters, sort of like Nichijou, but raunchier and worse animated xD |
