Wow, this was actually a rather thrilling episode.

We got the usual supernatural events going on but it takes a more in-depth look at that Rio. Definitely felt like the episode had more feeling of psychology than the usual stuff that I had expected.

Rio is starting to become a breakout character for me in this series after learning so much about her now.

Damn, they did a great job this episode.
Rio's past is tragic, relevant to modern events too.

I guess that show the dress talk was disguising something worse right? Anyway she still betrayed everyone in the end and gonna have to pay for it.

I dont blame Rio's betrayal considering the illtreatment she had to endure at the hands of the association, but i only have one problem she shouldnt take it out on them especially Bico.

Association clearly has problems with their staff, if they can get away with things like that so easily. On the other hand since they are supposedly undermanned, I guess there is no incentive to solve it either, since they don't have replacements. It's quite sad state of affairs.

I can't entirely blame Rio for what she did, but still, attacking Muhyo that hasn't done anything while mostly ignoring people that actually wronged her, even if it's probably order from someone else, does not make her much better person.

Hopefully when issue becomes public the association members in question will receive their due punishment though.

I like this episode quite a bit, since we finally got to see deeper into how association works, and what forbidden law is all about. I wonder if Rio could go back in any way, though it seems that once contract is forged, even if she were to repent, there is no way back.

What happened to Rio-sensei was very tragic and she's now a very high threat traitor!
Cool episode but friggin' cliffhanger!
5/5.

Wow, this show manages to get darker and darker. Very different than I imagined when I hesitantly put on the first episode thinking it might be too much of kid's show (largely based on the MC character design). I feel bad for Rio and I can't wait until certain members of the magic association receive their MeToo moment!

Gawd - I hate it when supposed "action" shows replace action with half-assed melodrama! That was crap of the worst kind. This show had lots of potential but it has frittered all of it away with idiot plots and whiny characters.

I don't hate the direction they took with Rio but I hated how blatantly cartoon evil the association people were that led her to be that way. Just really poorly handled. No clue if that's how it is in the source or not but regardless wasn't a fan. The show has had similar moments (especially some of the drama in eps 1 and 2) earlier, too, that really hold it back.

Damn Dude Rio took a straight Heel turn. I thought she was under control but no she is straight evil.

Honestly and I know this might sound mean, but I really hope she dies. Muhyo is going to enforce Magical Law...and well...shes going to be judged.

Damn that backstory, that's quite the character development! Did not expect that in this kind of anime!

Didn't expect Rio to be like this, that's sad, and she has like many other characters a very dark past, especially with her mother

Damn, this plot twist of the show served good to my satisfaction. It was indeed gave more thrilling vibes than the usual exorcism of evil spirit. Again. Its about Rio's justification order of episode. Its sad, ofc, that she couldn't survived among that cruel world in the society of magic executionery. Those people really a garbage. Its hard, indeed, but she just go through the wrong path. Still, damn, as their good direction of this episode, i give this one a solid salute. Congratulations.
So lets just see how they survived the raged of Rio's evil side....

Poor Rio, being beautiful isn't enough when you are surrounded by mean horrible older people. She should just kill that old woman and the old pervert man.

Why would you listen to Enchu to kill Muhyo? She does protect Bico before means she really care for her pupil.

Normally I'm all in for just dealing with evil (Muhyo's attitude) without thinking bout it but considering this is someone close to them makes it really difficult. Rio's past is pretty tragic, if only Bico or even some other student was there to save her from despair

And here it is, what I was waiting for, the "modern audience" take on things. Of course Rio san became "evil" because of the patriarchy, of course.
Me every time I hear the word "reparations": 🤣🤣🤣
