| if you had a bot or something to pause for you. if its going at 4x speed theres no way you can react fast enough to catch the show right where there is dialogue at the exact moment; either you will pause too early and have to wait for dialogue or you will pause too late and miss some and have to go back. also the bot would have to know when to pause which it can't. so no, its not efficient at all |

| It's not about efficiency, if I wanted to get shit done I'll just stay overtime at work or something. Watching anime is merely something to enjoy at my own pace and to the exact pace that the creators of those anime deems to be perfect. Speeding up makes the dialogue to too fast to have any weight to it, ruins the intended atmosphere created for the scene and kills basically any background music. |
