Heh, Juri ditched her signature coat and wears more casual clothing now.

Seems she's more determined than ever now to end this whole conflict. I feel that Shouko is more trustworthy now after understanding her more. Feels like Junji has something big planned with his group.

Betrayal was the main subject of this episode but it seems some where to confident in their betrayal and it will be costly for them.
That cliffhanger was certainly interesting.

It also seems Yuri's group is doing well and even gained a few members.
The question is will the be able to stop the other group.

This anime has a lot of forced plot. Once all members of the family were reunited, why not they just go and grab the master stone to break the spell? Why do they have to fight the love society? Before this episode the excuse to not do so was that they didn't want to trap a member of their family forever, but trapping some kindnnapers from some random cult must be ok, right?

Something about part of this episode felt really off impression-wise for me.

Like when Junji was explaining what actions he's going to do with the Love Society, I could not help but feel a complete disconnect. It was hard to pay attention and care in the middle portion of the episode. Perhaps I am just craving to see what Junji's backstory and motivation behind the Master Stone is. It is weird because it was easy to pay attention to him in earlier episodes, but here, I could not care what he had to say. Maybe it is the stakes that make his character most notable, like the Episode 7's cliffhanger segment of him risking his life.

I felt this episode could have been handled better.

Excellent, Yosuke, Majima's older....err now younger brother does still seem to be alive. God knows what state he'll be in if he makes it back to a hospital though. Majima also seemed to confirm my hypothesis from last week: her family being freed means no more heralds to protect the stalled. Tsubasa's fate still concerns me. He wasn't harmed this week but remains a sitting duck. The rest of the episode was on the talky side, mostly. One more goon was dispatched and Juri showed off her tits, in a bra but still. The dad remains an ass, please let him be the family member who gets killed if any of them do. So we're seeing the splintering of the remnants of that cult. Sagawa, the leader, revealed his true intent, to be a watcher of sorts. Honestly so far that doesn't seem that bad to me, but the monstrous form it looks like he'll be taking next week might change that. Look out Juri! And somebody scoop up Tsubasa before he's caught in the crossfire!

So Sagawas plans were revealed and his men found out about his true intentions.

Too bad that the episode had to end before Sagawa makes his move.

From the opening itself I realized they're going to be changing Juri's cloths solely because of the battle with the Heralds to a little more casual, and I'm totally fine with that, mostly because they suit her well, but it's gonna take just a little time till I'm fully used to it since I loved her original outfit.

From the previous episode, I thought we were gonna have a new character to stay in stasis with them being Shouko's brother, fortunately he's still alive and gets dispelled from stasis. This will make some good aftermath with the whole burial and rejuvenation with her brother.

Lastly, with the whole theme and Sagawa thing that was going on with this episode, a bit forced but alright. Lots and lots of backstabbing and betrayal type things going around though. I can't wait to see what Sagawa's gonna be able to do next episode.

One more thing that would've been cool is if they added new visuals in the ed, but now that I think of it, its fine staying the way it is from now throughout till the end.

Okay, so I'm totally on board with accepting Sagawa's plan to extend his life via becoming a Herald, but what I don't get is why he wants to live so long. Sure, he mentioned some vague reasons in the episode itself, but with how Sagawa has been so far I doubt it's so simple as just wanting to observe. There has to be more to it than that.

Also, it's becoming pretty obvious that the father is going to do something crazy at some point to try and keep the Stasis spell, but it's hard to say what he's going to do to that end.

Sagawa's goal wasn't to use the stasis for selfish reasons after all (not entirely at least) and he agrees with getting rid of it. That makes him likeable to a certain degree. The cult members aren't taking his betrayal lightly of course. Either way, it was an interesting reveal, that this book wasn't originally religious in nature, but a record of stasis experimentation.

It's good, that Shouko has her brother back. And I like, that the thug decided to switch sides and convinced Shouko to assist the Yukawas now.

But now Takafumi seems to become a threat. I fear, what actions his delusions will cause.

Shouko's reunion with her brother was not that emotional and impacting. It could've been handled better. Juri's dad is a huge idiot and hopefully he doesn't mess things up. Got to know about Junji's plan for that stone.

At first I was like: "Wow some stupid fantasy, and an ED for insecure adolescents", but then It started slowly growing up on me, until the moment when thinking about it makes me smile a little, which I do once a week apparently.
The story got way more complicated - some true believers who are hypocrites, in wanting to make the world a better place they are ready to murder, a leader whose true aim is to ascend beyond what is known as "human", a scum who just wants easy life and a surveillance specialist who does not seem to be playing into their crap. And that good-for-nothing father who is just making things worse each time. It seems Sagawa is actually going to be a final boss, though initially I thought Shiomi (surv. spec) would overthrow everyone for his own purpose, but let's see where this leads, when everyone's cards are on the table.

Wow... That's a bit much ain't it, considering how long shes been without the kid and knowing what happened when he disappeared and everything, seeing him talking, walking, and totally alive would be a huge surprise. I probably wouldn't have been saying what she said, but I would sure as hell have been repeating "omg he's alive" in my head non stop while balling my eyes out and hugging him.

Ummm... no... Black-haired girl said in the episode that there may not be any more heralds since her family was most likely the last ones to become heralds. No heralds, means nothing to protect the stalled. The Kidnappers could kill whomever and not have to worry about being killed themselves.

OMG! looks like last b0ss Sagawa is tougher than expected!
So Sagawa's prime mission objective goal is to transcend to a higher being than humans and live thousand years to observe humanity huh...Sagawa's trying to be a god huh?
Damn! new outfit of Juri quite fits her!
So that Stalled can become completely unprotected huh...that is if there's no more Heralds huh...
So they're slowly bringing down the disciples of the Genuine Love Society! with the team-up of Juri & Majima!
The others found the Master Stone but the betrayal now begins!
5/5.

Yukawas? You mean the family? ... When did that ever happen ? Show a screen cap of them saying anything about the brother. If you remember the scene the transition from freeing short black hair girl's family to going to the van is immediate. When the fuck did they just casually say to the short haired thug guy, hey by the way, my brother killed one of your hired guys in our house...

GET REAL dumbass... Like seriously do you think?

Its called "context". If you try to attack context just to produce hatred on a series, while you actually can't come up with a decent reason to call it "flawed", your input has no value. Also called "use of logic". True art will not lead you by the hand, even if you cry loud enough for even the creators to hear. (not implying this is True art, it has the elements; merely implying your understanding if inferior. Or you are an angry adolescent).

Nothing makes sense in this episode besides the first minutes. Suddenly, Sagawa wants to live forever because some reason why???. Also, he trust so much Shiomi, a character that barely appears in the show, for some reason. The others members find out that and convenient found the stone in a impossible place. What, you never heard of "reality"? Do you need 10 minutes context and "flashbacks" for each of them? This is obviously a knowledge barrier where you lack enough knowledge of reality, and what drives people, and thus you can't fathom the motives and reasoning behind the characters ON SCREEN!
