The female side's 1st place mangaka wins it twice in a row, she's won a lot of awards.

Most of them are new publishing stuff, that barely catches the eye of translators, so that's why they're unknown to us outside Japan readers.

Anyways glad Oshimi's Chi no Wadachi made it, should have been higher on the list tho, especially with male's readers but w/e.

Nice, now lets wait a few years for a Dr Stone anime to happen. It just screams for an anime
And who knows, in the meantime, maybe, idk, a Yakusoku no Neverland anime might happen as well

I can said most of the manga in the list will get anime in future, especially Neverland and Dr. stone.

Honestly I'm surprised with Atelier and Efu no Shichinin , glad they're made it this year.

Neverland and Beastars are amazing, you should try them out. Fumetsu no Anata e is also a promising new manga.

Golden Kamuy, Made in Abyss, Dr. Stone, Kimetsu no Yaiba are also all great manga for all kinds of different reasons, give em a try.

Tongari Boushi no Atelier and Kuutei Dragons are things I wanna read. The winner for the female category looks cool, but no translations.

Not really surprised with Neverland being high on the list, considering the popularity raising up for the series.

translation also lack in here... stuck in chapter 6...

was beastars fun? the oly thing that hold me read it because look like dramafest... not my kind of story...

*1. Yakusoku no Neverland
*7. Golden Kamuy
14. Kuutei Dragons
15. Dr. Stone
18. Maou no Hisho
19. Kimetsu no Yaiba

CONGRATULATIONS! all of them is great on it's own... too bad maou no hisho translation look like stuck as well... kinda wondering why maou-jou de oyasumi not in here where maou no hisho is here...

kimetsu no yaiba adaptation maybe anounced in next jump fest, or soon enough... sold really good...

Non-translated manga that I really like are Getsuyoubi no Tomodachi and Utakata Dialog, so I'm happy for them.

Neverland, Kimetsu no Yaiba, and Dr.Stone! Definitely some interesting and enjoyable jump titles. Also Fumetsu ofc is on the list. Still need to read Golden Kamuy after the x times I've seen it in some sort if top lists. Had read one chapter but forgot about it...

As for the female side, nothing I know of except Cardcaptor.

Hagio's manga looks and sounds good. But how did this even land on the second place among currently published titles voted by current (young ) readers?

I've searched them and I saw their different covers and titles, I actually stumbled a lot to Tthem, I just don't read them since I tend to procrastinate, though it's still remarkable that a lot of them are quality manga.

The gender divide is confusing :D I´m more a man than a woman according to this list. I reeally enjoyed some of the first list, don´t know most of the second one.

Agree about Promised Neverland!
7 Seeds was good too (to be fair to both lists :p)

Just started Tongari Boushi no Atelier and love it. The main is a girl so I bet they considered genre (seinen, shounen; shoujo, josei) when making the lists.

lol Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru did something new got released?
^edit: nvm I read it it was great
Also Tomomi Abe got a 4th placer, I'm very interested on that mangaka but ain't a moonspeaker and there's so little of her translated

Real talk, most of that male top 20 looks amazing to me, but I guess that's only natural considering the contest ayoop

It makes no sense. No. It's impossible. There must be some bias or mechanism. My gender would never pick those stupid titles. No.
