  Shingeki no Kyojin event "Attack on Taikan II" held on Sunday has announced that Shingeki no Kyojin Season 2 will get a recap movie. Titled Kakusei no Houkou, the movie will premiere in Japan theaters on January 13, 2018. It has also been announced that the previously announced third season of the series is slated for Summer 2018. Shingeki no Kyojin is a manga by Hajime Isayama and began its serialization via Bessatsu Shounen Magazine in September 2009. The series currently has 23 volumes in print, with the latest released this August. The manga inspired several guidebooks and spin-offs, as well as light novels, game books, games, live-action movies, drama, and plays. The first anime season aired in Spring 2013 for 25 episodes and received a two-part recap movie which premiered in November 2014 and June 2015. The second season began airing on April 1 and aired for a total of 12 episodes. A 3-episode OVA adaptation of the Lost Girls spin-off series has also been announced to release from this December to next August. I wasn't even going to click on this, but since I'm a big snk fan I still did, thankfully I did because I would be wondering why haven't mal posted the new s3 news, not knowing that this news will also mention s3 and show us its new key visual. Again, poor choice of heading if you want to make people click on your news article. Most person don't care about recap, so it should not be the heading over s3 news. It basically tell me that you are saying the recap movie is of bigger priority over s3 news, the thing that most people care about. Again, I am very disappointed |
