He's probably just finding an excuse not to watch it due to hype backlash or something, which is not solved by shilling it more. Your best bet to force your hand is to maybe do something like get him to watch mob psycho, and if he likes it enough inform him of how one punch man is by the same person. |

| Whatever, if he doesn't want to watch then don't force it onto him. While technically the animation is very good not everyone will necessarily find it appealing. I wasn't impressed by OPM's animation either while something less acclaimed like Mononoke was way better animation-wise for me (not only the artstyle). |

When the first episode of One Punch Man released i didn't have any interest in this anime at all, but after 4/5 months after it end i didn't have anything to watch so i just like "ok fck this, i'm gonna TRY to watch the first episode" and surprise surprise i love every episodes of it. |
