| Having an unbeatable boss monster kill all the players for the finale of the game is not a bad idea, though I don't think whatever that was intended. xD An old man was killed, that came out of nowhere. :o Rei finally found out Gin's identity but how? |

| This episode took a dark turn. The old guy getting killed came out of nowhere. Rei's character got killed right in front Gin's character. Then the game ended. That is sad. Then at the end, they finally saw each other. |

| Tbh, the guy was really annoying me with his depression when he could of just talked to the girl IRL. The girl was the one who finally took the initiative to talk to him. Ty pink-haired gal. Seems its getting darker. Let's see how this goes. |

| Slowly progressing towards the actual story...I'm sorry but this extensive backstory seems to be dragging along. At least in this episode we were introduced to some of the main concepts like the grave keeper (which I assume Suigin will be taking the role of) and the grave robbers, so I hope we can start to dive in to exploring who and what they are and what their goals are. Overall it was a pretty good episode imo |

| I thought maybe her character dying was going to do something to her in real life like .hack or SAO, but if she's okay I'm not sure why Suigin was melting down about not protecting her. What a weirdo. Definitely a couple twists that were unexpected, curious to see where it goes from here. |

| I was actually pretty impressed by this episode, and I think I'm actually going from enjoying it ironically to enjoying it unironically. Btw to those of you saying "How did Riku Rei know Suigin was Gin in the game", part of it I think definitely was her taking a shot in the dark and just guessing, but do remember he plays Dungeon Century like almost directly under her window on his PC in the cemetery. She can probably, like, see him just by looking out her window, which I think she's actually done before a few times. She also probably just had a feeling and decided to follow through with it and ask, and ended up being right. Sometimes you just know these things I guess. Anyway, about the episode itself, I thought the emotional impact of the very ending moments of Dungeon Century was done very well. When Suigin was given the flower item that can grant any wish, that Riku Rei found, I thought something was going to happen like some OTT stupid shounen fight or something like that--which wouldn't have been too far fetched based on the OTT shounen crap of episode 1. But I was pleasantly surprised when Suigen fell into the fire and darkness and the game simply ended. The clock struck midnight and it was over. There was no exposition, no voice over explaining the scene we just saw like "that's how my experience with dungeon century ended lolol" no out of place scream of anguish. Just Suigin alone in the grave yard, a shot of Riku Rei's dark window above him, and the chiming of a bell. Done surprisingly well actually I didnt expect subtlety from this anime. Let's hope it keeps it up. This anime still is kinda OTT and dumb but its kinda drifting to the right track. If anything it's really entertaining and fun if you don't take it TOO seriously. |
