 The 12th volume of Fumiaki Maruto and Kurehito Misaki's light novel Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata revealed in its afterword that the series will end with the 13th volume. Maruto also stated the possibility of future works, similar to spin-off series that are independent to the main story.Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata began publishing under Kadokawa's Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint in July 2012. A manga adaptation drawn by Neet ran for three volumes in Young Ace between February 2013 and May 2014. A second manga adaptation drawn by Takeshi Moriki was serialized in Dragon Age between January 2013 and August 2016, and collected into eight compiled volumes. The series inspired an anime adaptation by A-1 Pictures that was broadcast on Fuji TV's noitaminA programming block in Winter 2015, with a special episode airing before the anime's premiere. A second season is scheduled to premiere on April 14 on the same block. Aniplex of America licensed the first season for North American distribution, and released the series in two Blu-ray volumes in March and May in 2016. Yen Press licensed the manga adaptation by Moriki in January 2016 and will publish the fifth volume on March 18. Source: Hachima Kikou |

And it was needed, after years of deconstruction and auto-pilot protestants*. It had good impact already.
