| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well I'm not a bit surprised.. Shuusaku Matobai is still ruthless as ever with his tactics. No wonder Kogane also went into rage mode to try and kill him. However, that's not going to bring her father back so I feel pretty bad for the girl. Episode had a more emotional feel to it even though Azuma's sister still pours her eccentric energy into the show. I expect the show to focus more on her for remainder of the season. |

| It really pains me to see that Kaoruko is being set up by that Guy person. If only she stopped for a bit and listened to what his brother had to say..... Now she is going to be the heart of a cursed Bubuki that drove her previous owner to madness and have mental problems. Reoko-sama didn't suffer so much for this. |

This should be the minimum standard for CGI anime. |

| All this Matobai story was already obvious/known since the 2nd quarter of the anime... sure it was nice to see the full flashback but it was also a loss of time. Meanwhile, the desperately blind Kaoruko is chosen to be Entei's next pilot. Doesn't this mean she will have to take the heart's role over (with the doom)? And more importantly for me, what will then happen to Reoko's life (maintained by Entei)? 3.5+/5 edit: @Daniel_Naumov Thank you. Something I forgot about the translation (of Crunchyroll US?): is "tl;dr" even a word to begin with? No. Has it ever been used in spoken dialogues? No. What does it do exactly in the iddle of a subtitled video line? I doubt the japanese dialogue used some kind of non-word not even present in dictionnaries. |

| Not a fan of them recycling an entire episode from last season for this. They went through this whole Kogane hates the hat dude thing last season already, why the need to spend another episode on this again? The time would have been better spent developing this year's story. The only thing that was developed was that Azuma and Co. now know that Guy has ulterior motives and is holding Reoko captive. The last 8 minutes of this episode could have been used on something else really... Must say though, the fight at the beginning was pretty good. That the Taiwan dude's arms and legs have grown to like Azuma's team was nice to see. Nothing else to note really... the less dumbass Kaoruko the better. |
