| That was good. The mafia setting is well done and I can smell some revenge stuff going to happen. MC seems to be not entirely right in his head anymore, when I look at his face in the beginning of the episode. Soundtrack wasn't bad either. That was overall a nice setup, can't wait for more. |

| No opening? Don't do this to me, I waited so patiently for a longer-that-15-seconds-version of Signal from TK from Ling Tosite Sigure... Aside from that everything was perfect, can't wait for the next episode xD |

| This show looks promising. The first episode was pretty good. That moment when the MC's family gets killed was pretty damn brutal. The fact that this show will revolve around the mafia makes it even more intriguing. |

| I wasn't expecting this to be so intense. A boy watching his whole family get killed was grim. Very strong first half. The second half was good, but slightly rushed. The sudden name and action dump took some effort to make sense of. Loved the art and OST. 5/5 |

| I'm just happy that shows like this with dark setting are still produced.. Almost everything I see today is teen girls and high schools.. So I don't mind if It's a masterpiece or a below-average show , I'll still finish it. In this case everything is fine so far for me , Main characters aren't annoying and beginning is interesting , hoping story will be interesting too :) Just heard a short cut of Signal , want a longer piece now Kreygasm ( Maybe it won't make studio go bankrupt :D ) |

| Seems like a simple revenge story, but the prohibition mafia setting really gives this show a personality. I'm glad the violence was kept to realistic levels instead of the over-the-top gore we usually see. Visuals to match the gritty tone, I quite like it. Animation isn't the best, but it's serviceable. Hopefully this won't be a disappointment like Gangsta. I was entertained, very promising start. Been waiting for an amazing mafia title since Baccano, hopefully this'll be it. |

| Well, we're off to a decent start of a promising show. The pacing felt very rushed at times, and the direction lacked a better handling of some scenes. But, all in all, one of the few shows worth my time this season. 3/5 |
| I loved it so much!!!!! I fell in love with the Godfather vibe. The godly OST and ED which fitted the atmosphere really well. Great characters, even the minor character is really good and the voice actor of him was also great. Intriguing storyline and revenge theme + mafia theme(two of my favorites theme). And a little action. If the quality keeps going like this(or maybe be better), this will definitely be my favorite anime of the year. |
| I liked the cinematography in this episode, except for the very beginning of the episode where we had that out of place psycho smile we see mostly in anime that have such a theme. The atmosphere and the soundtrack so far are good, but here's to hoping it won't go south with the story and the cinematography. And, a song from the best mafia show.... :) And now I want to watch The Sopranos again. :( |

| Really hope this doesn't slip under the radar- it's one of the best first episodes I've seen this season. Avilio/Angelo is cool af and I'm loving his design. +1 for that creepy ass smile. That backstory as well...they didn't pull any punches with that one! Ending caught me off guard, seems like Avilio has already stumbled upon one of the objects of his revenge! Good stuff! Also wondering how many episodes this'll have...I'd guess somewhere around the 11-13 mark but I wouldn't mind a longer one since we don't really get many 25+ episodes of gritty/thriller, mafia style anime. I guess it's 'cause they're more niche. |

| Pretty good episode. The animation and music is good, well suited to the old times atmosphere. The revenge and hatred story looks promising and worth watching. Looking forward for the next episode. |

| I'm very intrigued, but might also end up hating it depending on how they portray revenge. this anime can either glorify revenge like so many others, or hopefully instead show the repercussions of the whole "seeking justice and driven by hate" thing. The crunchyroll description hits at this so I'm looking forward to a more developed plot. |
| Good first episode. I like the atmosphere & feel of the show. Background art is great & animation is decent. Poor Avilio witnessing his whole family being murdered. Just managing to escape. The violence is quite real. Fango is one crazy person. Good old fashion battle in a bar. Looks like Avilio has met Nero. Interested in seeing more. |

| Yup that animation style is so reminiscent of Baccano! :D Now my new first favorite episode, I'm glad its going to be a continuation story rather than a bunch of episodic shit like in joker game. Based on the synopsis on MAL, it seems we are going to get some interesting interactions out of Nero and Angelo/Avilio. I beg you Shuka don't fuck it up. |
