| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Dazai is a clever guy, liked him for his role this episode to get Atsushi more familiar with his current self. Really interesting to see Naomi being introduced this episode (even though she got kidnapped) and Junichirou as well. Some of the comedy took the thrilling part of it away so I do hope they cut down a little on that. Decent episode, Atsushi and Dazai made this episode fun to watch imo. Doppo Kunikida also has a cool ability.  |

| lol @ Mamo's character for attempting to suicide again. Searching for a job because the main guy refused to join. lol @ Hosoya-san's character as usual. He came to deliver news about the bomb incident. The main guy was forced to convince the criminal to buy time. So Hosoya-san's character's power is to bring something to life with his writing. The bomb is fake after all as he tried to sacrificed himself and it didn't explode. The criminal is one of them in disguise and the girl who got tied up is his sister. It was a test for the boss to accept him because of Mamo's character's recommendation. Two mysterious characters? |

| And here i was wondering why Dazai didn't offer to cover a bomb with his own body when it's a good way to commit suicide. I like action and most of the comedy of this series and how it works together. If this became a completely serious title it wouldn't really end well, with all drama there is to explore... |

| Atsushi and Dazai are the best pair (in comedy). I have to admit I was not sold by even Dazai's powers, but seeing his mind work like that I'm starting to see he must the popular guy among the Manga fans. Lol, am I the only one who finds Kunikida and Dazai's comic pair? I hope not! Nice to see new characters too, in different light I'll say... |

| It was kind of meh until it got intense when the dude was about to press the button. Overall very fun episode but the comedy does feel a tiny bit forced at times. |

| Still not what I was expecting when I picked this up, been very comedy heavy these past episodes. Was hoping for something a bit more serious. Still enjoyable, interested in seeing everyone's abilities. And I do hope that the MC will be able to control his ability at somepoint and not just be there for comedy. |

| This episode is just making me wonder if this is gonna be episodic without too much of an overlying plot or if there is going to be a plot at some point to mix things up somewhat. Other than that, I still don't like Atsushi so far, but at least his "act" of being a worthless human being was pretty funny, even if it's almost certainly a reflection of the fact that that's what he actually is. |
| idk i enjoyed the comedy a lot~ it was not over the top for me and i enjoyed this ep more than the first one. i loved how atsushi tried to persuade junichirou XD so their president is fukuzawa yukichi omg? i m excited to see his ability. |

| It throws in too much comedy during the serious moments, ruins the atmosphere. Also I didn't feel like we required an entire episode just to see the MC join the group. Hope they don't drag future eps and actually get on with stuff. |
| The comedy actually even made sense here since it was a ''test'' and nothing serious and they knew it. I really like the comedy btw, best part of the episode. |
| This is a weird show where it tries to be funny when it doesn't need to be... and actually pulls it off. I'm okay with the humor in this episode since the whole scenario was a setup, but if they give us actually serious situations and don't fuck around at that time, then I think this will be a-okay. |

| I wasn't expecting much when I picked up this anime, but it surprised me in a positive way! The first episode was good enough to get me interested, and I loved the comedy in this one... Though it would be more enjoyable if I got all the references... |

| This was a blast for me ! The test for atsushi took an interesting turn . Kunikida looks badass using that doppo poet ability ( gets all the girls clapping for him ) , and the comedy was soo much a hit for me , like when dazai messed with kunikida about being neurotic can lead to accelerated aging only to have kunikida kick him towards the door lol |

For a while, I did wonder how he managed to get his legs like that.. I'm liking the comedy in this series. There is a lot of it but it isn't overdone ridiculously to the point that it becomes stupid. The after credits scene also got me interested for the next episode. |

| Pretty fun episode, Dazai tricked Atsushi again. Looks like Atsushi will join the agency now. The atmosphere seems to be very jovial for now, They're throwing in a lot of comedy. Not that I dislike it but it does sort of hinder the tension or any type of seriousness they build up. Really liking Dazai, He's an awesome character. |

| It was a good episode overall, i really enjoy it :D i got trolled tho in the end XD i seriously thought that was real. that was a good way to test someone XD another suicide maniac i guess ? why not ? LOL XD the comedy was pretty good imo. the first half was okay and the second half was really good, especially that troll XD DAT after credit scene tho.....looking foward to that. i'm curious... |

| Love the ED. Really enjoyed this episode, the comedy really worked for me, especially when Atsushi was acting like a 'worthless human being. The character interactions are great. The scene after ED got me hyped for next episode. Looking forward to see how this show develops plot-wise, and also if the tone will stay the same throughout. |

| I'm not really enjoying the comedy aspect of this anime right now, I'll admit that I do laugh at times, but most of the time it doesn't really feel that funny to me. I will admit though, Dazai is hilarious at times, and Mamoru Miyano voicing him makes it even more perfect. Not to mention he also has great chemistry with Kunikida. But I really hope as the anime progresses, it tones down the comedy a bit. Side note, hopefully Tanizaki's bro-con sister isn't featured too prominently, she's already annoying as hell imo. Lol so the whole episode was an elaborate setup to get Atsushi to join their agency. It seems like things are going to be getting a bit more serious after seeing those 2 characters that showed up at the end. |

| Honestly, I didn't feel some of the comedy in this episode. But other than that, it was quite enjoyable. After that ending, things seem to get more interesting now. I hope it'll pick up. |

| I didn't like the Ep1 and overall the comedy isn't funny in my opinion, but this episode was kind of cool so i wont drop :) hopefully it get better when the mystery kicks in. |
| Instead of an oil drum, how about trying a trash can, Dazai? I'm saying this out of sympathy, of course. Personally, I do enjoy the comedy quite a lot in this series. Also, I may have a crush on Kunikida, hmmm. Next episode looks exciting, the Mafia's finally showing up. |

| I enjoyed this a lot -w- Considering the actual bomb wasn't real, I can understand there being more comedy during this time as it isn't actualy that serious a situation. But I assume things would be much more serious later on if the situation calls for it. |

| Great episode, loved it all. I think later on the comedy aspect will die down a bit as the plot thickens but I do not mind it too much since suicide-san seems to be a rather goofy character. |

| They did this chapter pretty well. Atsushi is tricked by Dazai but is still admitted into the organization; Junichiro and Naomi are introduced too. Like others, I'm not much of a fan for the comedy it includes here so far (I can't even remember if it gets toned down a bit later on), but it's sort of fitting. |
