| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Mm a water park theme episode of competition. Fun. First half felt a bit slow though and had tension with the team members. I find the episode more fun than usual because of the change in setting with the water park. Oh and of course, there's man service as well because of the swimsuits. Oh and can't forget volleyball of course. BEACH PARTY.  |

| Brief and awkward talk. Most of the members are all thinking about the game they lost and the people related. There's a space for improvement even though they lost miserably last time (just because the enemy team is too fast). Suwabe-san's character is to the point. The main two think of the person who runs ahead and not think about the team members. After the game, the father invited the girl to his school. With Shimono-san's character and OnoKen's character combi's suggestion, they are at the pool to ease the atmosphere. Guys trying to give messages about cooperation, but the first years are ok with solo. The girl also try too hard with the huge bucket of ice. I'm glad it works as Kimura-san's character feels bad for her and tries too hard until Nobu's character also joins. It is reflected to the training. The girl called to refuse the invitation, and he supports her decision. More training next. and 3 more eps. left. |

| That was a pretty fun pool episode The talk with Tomoe went pretty much how I thought it would go and it was interesting to see how that transitioned into this episode for both Riku and Takeru The snow cone thing was great lol but PoS went full Free and Haikyuu this week.. .I was saying to myself that Takeru is like Haru from Free only to find out a min later that he can't swim xDDD Glad to see that the teamwork between those two is finally improving notably....Now for both of them to get over their respective hurdles and break their limits |
| I'm feeling something's really wrong with this Yagami brothers. I'm feeling no "brotherhood" between them, the young one is just thinking about jealousy and annoyance because people keep compared him with his older AND the older one is probably won't realize it. I can only remember the "Yuuki Rinrin!" word, though. :v  |

| Things got a bit melodramatic in the beginning but it turned out to be a fun episode. The team wanted to stress the importance of Teamwork to Takeru and Riku. The water ride duo was funny. It seemed like Takeru and Riku ran into the Girls Restroom after eating the Ice Cream xD |

| I had to go back and re-watch the scene of Takeru and Riku drinking from the bucket, very disappointed there was no indirect kiss (both of them had drank the ice cream from opposite sites of the bucket). |

| Not much happened but more of the Yagami brothers' relationship. Nana's hair was cute, and seeing her take on the whole bucket of shaved ice was a bit unexpected. Lol at Riku and Takeru finishing it though. Decent episode. |

| dat 17x combo idiom streak tho. didnt mention this last episode, but all 3 of the 1st year characters have backgrounds in Stride, yet Yagami and Sakurai seem to know nothing about stride in the first few episodes. waterslide scene was gay af lol. |

| I was already losing patience with this anime, but the cherry on top this episode was Riku and Takeru somehow "reconciling" despite never actually addressing any of the issues between them or Riku's underlying insecurities. Apparently shaved ice fixes all. Liray777 said: I want to know why their is such an emphasis on Riku and Takeru connecting smoothly when they run at opposite ends of any race. Riku seems to always be the starter and Takeru seems to run the last stint. So why do they practice connecting so much if they are never even going to need to? I never noticed that until you pointed it out, but you're completely right! Riku always starts, and Takeru always finishes. Wtf hahaha |

| I'm not prepared for the next episode. The preview had too much drama... I feel so bad for Tomoe, though, he's just so passionate about stride and that's not a bad thing except for Riku who feels like he's never gonna be as good as his older brother... I hope they at least close/fix this before the season ends. Just 3 more episodes... ahh. Also, I saw this linked on the the Prince of Stride subreddit i thought i'd share it here too. | Riku & Takeru are still LQ with each other. LOL at sensei very long idiom blabbering! obligatory pool episode again. the heck! that is not a watermelon! that is a friggin' inflatable with watermelon design! haha OMG Takeru couldn't swim in the first place! But damn Riku & Takeru are capable in terms of beach volley! Crazy Snow Cone Bucket eating challenge! but at least they made it, the only downside is Riku & Takeru had LBM afterwards lel! 4/5. |

Good point, who decides the order of running during the matches anyway? Do they draw numbers or something? Considering Riku goes first every match, maybe THAT's what they should be working on so that they won't fall behind from the start. tbh I'm kind of done with Riku's drama now, looking at the preview there's gonna be even MORE |
