| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- So we learn more about Shizuku's past this episode...and more about Ikki. The fight was good, they got a decent soundtrack for it with some important commentary in the background coming from Ikki. I think they invested quite a bit of time into the inner dialogues as well but whatever, I expected Shizuku to struggle in this fight against her opponent. Shizuku D:   |

| It was definitely much above my expectations. A pity that I couldn't say the same to Episode 8. It was nice that the emphasized how Tohka can "see" Shizuku without actually seeing her. |
| I knew she was going to lose from the beginning, but it was still a very intense fight! I'm just curious on who that short fat guy is. Who, I'm assuming, works for Ikki's father, and what they're trying to accomplish. I'm pretty excited about next weeks episode though! HOPEFULLY WE GET TO SEE THE ALL POWERFUL ALICE FIGHT. HOPEFULLY. |

| Spectacular battle, but the outcome was obvious. I don't like Shizuku much, but she was great this week. Please don't give us Todo's backstory show, or have her help our characters again so they can get friendly, just have Ikki beat her(I'm assuming they'll fight, and this show takes the cliche/obvious route here) while keeping Stella in the spotlight as the female lead...sigh, like that will happen. |

| It's amazing how week after week this series manages to trump every single badass fight with an even better one....100/10 visuals too Best fight of the series hands down and easily one of the best episodes too....I'm really proud of Shizuku and that ending was really cute yet sad at the same time The scene with the loli teacher and Stella was funny but I'm really curious about she and Raikiri's master and I'm impressed to hear that last year's winner couldn't even beat her in close combat And Ikki's cunt dad is about to try and start trouble -_- |

| Seriously, if Todo is that strong and can cut through Shizuku's best attack without even breaking a sweat, how the hell did she not win? How powerful was the "spear guy" that actually won the tournament? Great fight scene though, and I can't wait to see Ikki fight Todo (assuming that actually happens). |

| That was such a great battle! It was also nice seeing Ikki explaining Trackless Step. Man, Tohka is such a badass. |
| Silver Link and Oonuma Shin definitely had a lot of fun animating this fight. It looked fucking badass. Also, Todo wasn't using her eyes for most of the fight (and apparently her vision is garbage without glasses). That's the exact polar opposite of Ikki's Perfect Vision, I hope she gives him a hard time. :D I feel bad for Shizuku. At least Alice is still there to be best girl and serve as her pillar of support. |

| Witch of the deep ocean VS Raikiri!!! The most amazing fight ever from this anime. i know she will lose but still i feel bad for her.she put a good fight. amazing!!! Raikiri fast moves almost looked like a teleportation that suprised me. i think Gakusen need to learn a little bit from this anime. Can't wait for next week. |

| This was the best episode I've seen. So glad that Shizuku got some character development and I learn more about her and her family. The fight scene was the best one yet so hopefully the next fight scene is just as good as this one. And really Ikki really? You could've at least give your sister a hug or said she did a good job and she gotten stronger like a big brother but no you just stood there without saying one word to her. Whatever man. |

| This is definitely my favorite battle. It was nice to see Shizuku getting some needed development. She held her own for the most part against a semi-finalist, but Toka's abilities are overwhelming, especially her Nukiashi and Raikiri. |
