 The official anime website of Boku no Hero Academia (My Hero Academia) has announced that the series will be animated by Bones (known for Fullmetal Alchemist and Noragami). A key visual was also revealed.Kouhei Horikoshi's superhero manga, Boku no Hero Academia, has been serialized in Weekly Shounen Jump since July 2014. The manga currently has five compiled volumes in Japan, with the sixth being released tomorrow. Synopsis People are not born equal, a realization that 4-year-old Midoriya Izuku faced when bullied by his classmates who had unique special powers. Izuku was one of the rare cases where he was born with absolutely no unique powers. This did not stop Izuku from pursuing his dream, a dream of becoming a great hero like the legendary All-Might. To become the great hero he hopelessly wants to become, he now will join the ranks of one of the highest rated "Hero Academies" in the country: Yueiko. With the help of his idol All-Might, will he be able to claim the ranks and become a true hero? | at least it's not pierrot or toei. actually hoping sunrise or IG production for this series TBH. i don't mind original ending since the manga still don't has an arc that has conclusive endings (maybe hero killer arc ending is the best, but it's too rushed for 12 episode, and too slow for 24). |

Darker Than Black, Kekkai Sensen and Sword of the Stranger, just to name a few. Jyu Oh Sei is an underrated gem made by them and I'd have added Akagami and Xam'd if I had watched more episodes of either. You're really underrating Bones here. |

| Glad to hear this. At least we're saved from the likes of Toei, Pierrot or LIDENFILMS. I'll be expecting anime-original contents and maybe even anime-original ending but I'm fine with that seeing how sequel-friendly their recent adaptations are. The chances for sequels are pretty good too as long as it's doing well enough. |
