Decent episode though. I liked how it began to focus on the fantasy side of the story again. Not only that but Pina is becoming relevant again. (and that BL fascination...)   Split cour confirmed. Next season to air in January (Winter) Mod edit: Translation is delayed again it will air on Saturday. Do not ask for subs and don't ask for download/streaming websites or links too other copyrighted material. |

| Sad news indeed we have to wait till winter it seems. In any case this is exactly as the manga a build up to things to come. I have to say that adaption was done really nicely and it's not often i praise an adaption like that after i have read the source material. And knowing what happened in the manga i can't wait to see some of the things yet to come animated. We need more Yao, Dahlia, Tuka and offcourse Rory. Also has too be said. Poor Yao being bothered like that and not even receiving the help she came for. |

| Well well, interesting...and we are half-way there. 12 episodes left So Fire Dragon Arc starts...have to wait into January tough...and Poor Yao, the misunderstanding and after that the knowledge that Green People cannot help her people, Poor girl. tough now she has heard of Itami tough...but I will no approve or Like the way she is going to get that help..or more like the what she is going to do. Ah...Pinã is interested about Itami....Using Boy love Doujinshi to get information about him past Guards! LOL!! XD Good Note to leave this series tough, would have pissed if they had left this on Cliff hanger. |

Poor Yao. Things didn't turn out quite the way she'd hope. But Itami might still help her and come up with a plan to slay the dragon and save her people. She'll probably be another addition to his ever-growing harem. And we'll have to wait for January to see that.  lol Pina sure loves her BL. And now the other girls too. It would be fun to see the people's reactions if other types of ''art'' were introduced to their world.  |

| Well I definitely think that Yao girl is my favorite of the four. I hope she's a badass in the fights to come. That aside I was disappointed to learn this show was being split up as I thought all 24 episodes were going to air consecutively. I've definitely enjoyed what we've gotten so far, I'm just hesitant really to give any further thoughts. 7/10 so far. |
| Wanted this to be a continuous 24-episode anime with no seasonal break in between. :( Now I gotta wait till January for the next half. Very pleasant anime and I really like this. Maybe Yao the dark elf will be added to Itami's harem in the second cour. And I can't stop laughing at the birth of the new fujoshi society in Pina's circle of friends. xD This first cour gets an 8/10 from me and the second cour might even deliver better stuff! :) |

| It ended as if another episode was to about come out next week. It really didn't feel like ending, I thought that the sudden appearance of the dark elf would indicate the ending with fight against the fire dragon as it would tie up the series nicely but nope. Well there is already next season planned so they didn't need to do anything flashy and at least they are following the story. As for the this anime in general though. I don't know what it has but somehow it was one of the three animes that I continued to watch weekly as it came out in this season rather than catching up to it now that the season is ending. Maybe it was the fact that I really expected to drop this anime when first seeing it as it seemed like another "stupid, harem advertisement for LN" but my expectations were met and far exceed (because they were extremely low in the beginning). Because of that though I can't really complain and I enjoyed it a lot. The only part that I didn't like that much were few episodes in the real world, they were somewhat boring, other than that another pretty average anime to watch and I expected lesser than that. Now I will even try out manga. |
| I know i'll miss this show for the next few months. I always love the military scenes, the fighter pilots giving itami a thumbs up as they pass by the little details like how the pilots love open airspace. Highlight of the ep for me was probably the scene where they're in the cafe having a discussion of how to bring the fire dragon down with real weapons. Had a huge grin on my face the whole scene. That's what my favorite part of this show really is, taking as realistic as you can get from an anime and slamming it into fantasy. 8/10 series might die from Rory deprivation during fall season. |

| really dissapoint in term visual redesign charater the studio turn every single female into ugly moe style rather than improve cute realistic style from Light novel and content tone down a lot of violent visual effect when there're superior version like manga to compare with plot pretty great but some cutting really disspoint.i think the split cour will not fix this,well i really hope i am wrong this time 6/10 another Maoyuu Maou Yuusha situation again. |

| Promising start, first 3 episodes very really good honestly, but after that it devolved into what LN adaptations usually devolve to - directionless mediocrity that focuses more on grills and fanservice. How disappointing. |

She just proved again she's best Gril :D In general, i quite enjoyed those 12 episodes, especially the stuff in the other World. However some parts were 'ehh?' or to Lolworthy in a serious situation. Also the parts in ''Real World'' or times where they go full ''Japan , fuck yeah'' made me feel a little uneasy sometimes. 7/10 |
| I've been very happy with this adaptation. Its focused on the flow of the story, and it has assumed the viewers have been both educated and intelligent. Too many animes seem to be "dumbed down" these days. In the Tavern Delilah was eavesdropping on the 'commanders'. There were (going by the uniforms) two Colonels and two Lieutenant Colonels siting at the table, so those must be the unit commanders of General Hazama's major subordinate units. The two Colonels were also present at the meeting the General had with Yao. I can't understate how appreciative I am that this show depicts a realistic modern military in so many ways. Best I've seen in anime. Yao's character has been fleshed out very nicely. Leilei is, in several ways, far more mature than her 15 years, and seems to be determined to become as powerful as she can. I hope that drive does not eventually consume her. As big a fan as I am for Kuribayashi and Rory, I keep getting reminded (in this episode and the last one) of how much I also like Kurokawa, too. Sergeant Major Kuwabara ("Pops") has also been a very good support character. We had the continuing efforts of Pinya working with the peace faction, the JSDF continue to make it abundantly clear that they're not here as conquistadores, it looks as if Bozes and some knights have formed a manga translating circle, and a new plot handle popped up with Delilah. Overall an ambitious anime which, thus far, has managed to hang together with only a few small bumps in the road. Well done, A1. Keep up the good work, and I am very much looking forward to January. |

| The idea of imperial fansubbers is pretty funny. I dont know why the elder elves called the girl dark elf one of the "wisest". She's clearly isnt. The second season will be on january 2016 kinda suck but I can wait. This series is definitely one of my favorite this season. |

| pretty much a setup for the second cour instead of a finale of any sort overall i enjoyed it quite a bit, fun characters, setting is interesting, story progression is pretty good looking forward to the second half |

| a lot of people are saying this was boring but honestly i loved seeing the culture clashes especially since there was such a substantial gap in technological advancement between japan and pinas empire. speaking of which pina was a really interesting character and i liked her slightly more than three main girls. my second favorite would probably be lelei and third would be tuka. i cant wait to see if they resolve tukas dead daddy issues. this was the one show i looked forward to the most every single week 10/10 cant wait till winter |
