This cant happen because good anime doesnt exist. Nippon cartoons are all shitty shows for little kids created by the devil to send filthy weaboos to hell.

There is actually real joy in watching moe, for me at least. So I have no such fear.

On another note, you seem to enjoy most anime you've watched, so you probably don't need to worry.
I'm not a lolicon, you're just projecting your tendency to lewd 2D characters.

If your favourite character is Tsutsukakushi Tsukiko, you are my soul mate.

Been a long time since I've been here, I'll continue expressing myself freely and believe everyone should too.

I understand the fear, but what do you do with it?

Either you quit watching anime because you think you watched all the good stuff, or keep searching.

So long as the time spent searching is worth what you find, don't worry. Even if you won't find another 10/10 masterpiece, the 7's and 8's are still worth it.

I'm extremely picky/elitist.

I only have a handful on my PTW and I'm not too sure if there's anything after that I'm at all interested in.

So yes, in the same boat as you OP - except you still have eva to watch, you lucky sod.
Now you're wondering if there's white text in any of my other posts.

Over there, I'm everywhere. I know that.

Of course not, there's over 10,000 anime out there and I doubt I'll ever watch half on top of that 30+ new anime come out each season. You can stretch it even longer if a whole lifetime isn't enough by getting into other hobbies.

No because there is media besides anime.

This 100%. Why limit yourself to just Anime. I swear too many people simply ignore all other mediums and try too hard to force themselves to watch too many $#!TTY anime just to get their list stats up despite there being good Manga/Visual Novels/Light Novels/Movies/Series/Cartoons.

(not enough)>Time.

And I tend to get lazy to watch more after 2 straight series.
Unless you're picky, I don't think you'll run out of anime.

Nah, there is always something good to watch. Or even re-watch after a few years.

I don't watch only anime which are said to be good or very good - sometimes I prefer something average, or even shitty, because why not. It just one of ways of spending our free time after all.

There is at least 2 or 3 really good animus a season.....although I do feel that I have ran out of the animes I would consider 9/10 or 10/10 :( This season is looking hopeful tho.

No, it's useless to fear things that you don't have the ability to control anyway.

Not to mention it would never happen since new anime is constantly being released.

There is actually thousands of animes episodes you never had the opportunity to watch.

I guess you'd never run out of anime to watch in that case.

But depends on how you can define whether it's great or not.You should give it a try.

It already happened. I'm waiting for Attack on Titan season 2 because until then there's a huge lull of worthwhile anime and I've already caught up on the good stuff.

Really? That happens to most people? You guys really need to look around more. There's more than 100 anime out there, you know. I guess if your favorite genre is the kind that is hard to do well that could make sense, but I'm sure there are other genres that you could get into.

The thing is, I'm discovering new shows everyday. Shows that I may not watch for a long time but may end up being 10's out of no where. Shinsekai Yori was on my PTW for over 2 years. Didn't hear much about it at all. Watched it, now it's my all time favorite show tied with Kaiba, another show I'd never heard much about.

In short, no, I'll never worry about running out of great series. I don't hand out 10's to every series I watch, and I know I'm set for as long as I keep up with this life.
Problems that cannot be solved do not exist in this world.

Theres usually 1-2 solid animes each season for the average viewer but there will always be a gem for your preference atleast a few years inbetween that you could rate above a 9. The great thing is most anime start out as light novels or manga so it will never run out of competent writers and ideas.

No, there are more anime produced each season than I can watch and the amount of old anime under the radar is also very high.
I probably regret this post by now.

It may sound odd, but sometimes I worry when I watch a great anime. I worry because once I'm done watching it, it's over. I've seen it already. I enjoy rewatching anime but it'll never have that same initial impact.

Pretty much same for me. I even go so far that I hold back on watching some greater Anime because I don't wanna "lose" them just yet.
