I remember the times when the profile contest would always get more than 10 entries each month... it doesn't seem so long ago and I think it could happen again. Yeah it sure is a fun hobby to have… whenever I feel hype over a series or character, I want to make a layout about it. Most of my motivation is driven by hype tbh. Same here, I got into GFX thanks to others on MAL. Aww I appreciate the company and I hope we’ll both be able to do gfx for as long as possible then~ ( ᵘ ᵕ ᵘ ⁎)

Hmm I don't think the modern layout plays a big factor in this case... I think if you were to make a venn diagram of those who use modern layouts and those who make gfx, there would be very little overlap. As long as there are some people doing gfx, it won’t completely die out. I would like to continue making layouts as long as I can find the time and motivation to do so. And I hope you can continue making more too! (۶•̀ᴗ•́)۶

I can totally relate! Sometimes when the story is too intense, I quickly bail, but if it's not engaging enough, I also can't stick around for long. :3 It's really hard to find a story that fits us perfectly. But yeah, like you said, closure is important. Even if the ending isn't satisfying, it's still better to have one than to be left hanging, right? And that saying, 'an overcooked meal still fills you up,' is so accurate! (≧∇≦)ﾉ

I feel the same about the PTW list—there are probably a lot of titles I won’t get to watch, and that's fine. Life is like that; we don’t always have time for everything. Oh, and thanks for being willing to share your 'unpopular' opinions! I always enjoy discussions like that.

Ah, about A Quiet Place: Day One, that's such a shame that it wasn’t as strong as the previous films. If the movie can't convey the same emotions or thrills, it definitely leaves us disappointed. A 5/10? Hmm, I might just skip this one, then. I haven't watched this one yet, but I liked the first movie p1.

If a story can make us relate emotionally, we’re definitely more connected and will stick around until the end. If not, it’s hard to stay invested.
