The opening theme song will also return, along with an insert song used in the original series. Cast members for the human partners have yet to be announced.The 15th Anniversary anime sequel to the original TV series was announced last August and staff members in December. I can't be optimistic about this considering their track record of recent years. Especially the last 5 years were grim dark. In their 2014 buisness report, Toei even outright admitted "quantity over quality" to be their buisness approach as it "yielded better results". I can only see a second coming of SMC-esque low budget terror. |

The director (how odd that we actually got a known director, at least since Adventure?) has a very mixed bag on his résumé, and School Days looks to be his blackest mark. I'm also thinking the new art style is going to be a magnet for off-model moments (which have always been a staple of Toei, to be honest). | Happy that the original theme songs return I don't really care for the voice cast since i have seen it ger dubbed CGI was also used in older digimons people shouldn't make a big deal of it |

| It's surprising to see that the intro theme will be Butter-Fly again. I thought it would be a new theme song, but might be a remix or something. Glad that Brave Heart is returning to the the evolution theme song. Hope the VAs will be the same as their original VAs from Adventure 02, as it's only a few years after 02, so the characters' voices won't change that much. Looking forward to it, hope it won't disappoint. |

| I hope they do something similar with the English dub, if there is one. This is one of those few shows where I found the English dub to be vastly more enjoyable than it's original Japanese counterpart. |

| This is hitting all sorts of nostalgia triggers in me. And I'm okay with that. (To be honest, I might actually squee a little once I hear Braveheart's riff on the show). The staff makes me feel like this could go either way, good or bad. Art feels conflicting, but I feel like it might grow on me. We'll see. Spring couldn't arrive sooner. |

| Not much experience with Yuuko Kakihara but hopefully they can also sneak in the original writers, I really want some Reiko Yoshida episodes. I did rewatch the series in japanese not long ago and I wouldn't mind if the guys change seiyuus (don't they keep them through 02 though? this is only a couple years after that anyway), the digimon don't really age so there's no problem, most people watch the dubs anyway so who cares in the grand scheme of things. |

| Wow when I looked at the visual Tsuritama instantly popped out at me. Doesn't look as young (for children) with the new visuals, but I like it. I guess my next long series should be Digimon. Looks more interesting than Pokemon. + Director of Jormungand. Why not. |
