what is your criteria for your avatar/forum set
| for instance with my avatar, i actually have seen a lot of the one piece movies but, i'm not nearly as into the show and manga as some people are. but i just really like how it looks. however, when it comes to my sig, that is from Magi which i read and watch...do you choose your avatar based on the anime's you are most into, or is more about how it looks, how it reflects your personality, etc. ? |

| I pick whatever looks good. I used to go with only yui hirasawa avatars as a theme, but thought Itoshiki better suited my posts and myself. It also looks better. I like nichijou, and it complimented my avatar and desire for a rotating sig. |

| I just choose characters that I like and that compliment my personality. Avatars and signatures are the only visual representations of yourself on the Internet, so it willl also be many people's first impression of you, therefore I think that it's important to put some thought into them. |

| My current forum avatar and my last featured cups to go along with the "swig" in Swiggy. Jon Arbuckle is also much like myself when it comes to actions, so I got a two in one deal going on. Weeks before, I had been preparing to change my avatar to Tom Tanaka from Durarara! since we're like... the same person when it comes to personality kinda, but Jon with a cup is A-okay too. My profile picture is just a Western cartoon style drawing I did of myself. I tried to keep it true to my appearance but also slightly exaggerated any unattractive features (like bags under my eyes), because why not? It's a lot about keeping it real but not really because it's not an actual picture of me but whatever. In other words, my avatars are meant to represent me in some way. |
