| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well that's quite a speech, longer than I had expected about friends and the game. A lot of talking this episode, not much action. Really insightful way to reflect their current conditions after coming so far. And honestly after that big boss fight, a big of reflection is good. Hope this buildup is worth it. |

| Talking instead of fighting. They seems to give up fighting because the main guy is dead. Then the leader's feeling about fighting and surviving here. His point for the speech there was never give up! Then someone argued about his point for not giving up pointlessly. Furthermore about the main guy's involving him, and they decided to try again. That's when the main guy woke up from the dead. He decided to say the whole truth? |

| As frustrated as those Silver Swords members were after being defeated, I think they were going a bit too overboard with their regrets. William was amazing with his speech this episode. Spoken like a true gamer. I relate to him so much, it's incredible! The only difference is, his speech skills are way superior compared to mine. Good to see everyone regaining their morale. Democracy should just leave the guild. He doesn't deserve to be in it anyways. Shiroe decides to open up to everyone more regarding his motives. I wonder how they'd react to it. Pretty sure only Democracy will oppose. Very good episode. With 15% chance of winning, Shiroe rises up once more and seems to have confidence in his new plan. Pretty excited to see what's he up to. |

| Amazing episode!! I just love eps with speeches like this :3 And the OST was really complimenting for it :) Now I know why LN readers were saying William is awesome ^^ Really love the dude now. His honesty and how he just shouted out his true feelings for more than half the episode was soo good. Dude's very cool :D Props to Nakamura Yuuichi. Dat VAing was great. Hit in the Kokoro of any gamer :3 One of my fav parts of his speech was definitely when he started talking about Shiroe and the Debauchery Tea Party. Got chills down my spine at that point >.<!! Hyped for nxt week. Nice seeing Shiroe having development too ^^ |

| Da speech this kind of things made Log Horizon so different from other Animes and LN. Delovements of history are slow but the right way. William opened his heart and gave a sincere speech. Great Episode!!!. Next Episode Shiroe speech. |
| Dem feelings of defeat doe T.T So people criticized William for playing a PC video game eh. Since they don't seem to have the same gear that sends them into the game like in SAO I wonder how did they get stuck in the game. or I just can't remember if it was ever mentioned before. Dat William speech/monologue doe... dem feelings T.T They're all ready to give the raid a go once again T.T So next episode is their final try at winning and defeating the raid bosses eh. |

| Episodes like this one make it so obvious that they're doing their absolute best to try to drag this out to fit the 25 episode quota. It's understandable, of course, but it is leading to big drops in quality like this. Seriously, did we need an entire episode for a speech about gamers? I don't think so. They better actually get on with the raid next time. |

| The speech was unnecessarily long but it was brilliant to be honest. I got touched a little bit by William's speech because most of it is true and actually happened to me when I was a teen lol. Anyways looks like we will finally learn some truth about Shiroe's plans. I hope he do tell them next episode and not skip it for a flashback. |

| This episode it remind me why I like LH so much. One of best episodes this season. (Definitely better than all that Akiba volume 6 crap.) I didn't mind the long speech but rather I enjoyed it and I think that they made it even longer than in LN (At least they didn't cut anything) and I like when the story stays true to it's adaptation and does not cut thing. Story shouldn't be changed just to fit anime format. |

| Bravo William Bravo... Best Speech ever man, He truly represents us gamers and how we feel about or passion for gaming and our lives. Now i understand why a lot of people liked him in the LN. say what u want to say the speech may have been long but it was so amazing to hear. It is also nice to see him actually learning from his own mistakes and instead of feeling anger he takes it upon himself to improve himself and use other accomplishments as a source of inspiration Cant wait for next week :) |

(i didnt even knew what is it before google search :P ) I find myself agree with you on some of the points u made, taking things like video games,anime..... to far its the same as any other addiction and something need to be done about it - people should know when to say ok here we stop....., but maybe your view of life isnt the same as they, for you its lack of "life" but for them its fun and its how they socialized its there life to choose from. |

| That was one long yet motivating speech. Don't mind that there was no action this episode. After being crushed by 3 raid bosses at once, the speech was what they need to give it another go. I'd be unmotivated to give it another go if I lost to 3 raid bosses at once. |

| As amazing as the speech of William maybe I don't really think we needed 1 freaking ep of it. I mean sure but why not just the 1st half or something. It does build up some tension but c'mon I wanted some action atleast. It was a good slow ep after the Akihabara raid though. Next ep Shiroe with his Phantasmal gear a;ready? maybe? from the preview he looked already geared to the max. Next ep the Real shiz is about to go down! |
| The Art of Shipping is no mere game. It can be small skirmishes to huge nation size wars. Of course some will claim their ship is the BATTLESHIP but they all do. This is why battles occur because of factions fighting each other to justify their favourite ship. And thus SHIP to SHIP combat occurs almost anytime even now. Beware, Threading into the Shipping battlefield will be bloody.... What are you waiting for? |
| Everyone wanting to give up. "Because we're gamers'! That was a really nice speech with William speaking slowly opening up himself to say what he feels. Making friends, having a similar circumstance, starting to care about them and above anything else, they were having fun. The speech and William were great! Despite the great odds against them, they will keep on fighting even if they lose. Shiroe's plan of having 15% chance of working. Looking forward to the new strategy! |

| That was virtually the most boring episode EVER. Really. Ok, speech was ok, but did it have to be 20 minutes long, really? The whole episode of one guy talking... how can that be interesting? And I am a gamer, and I really don't relate to this speech. Maybe an obsessive, totally addicted gamer would, I don't know, but I don't. And actually in this speech you could hear exactly that William is just a game addicted teenager, with personality problems, who thinks that "no one understands him" etc. and all this stuff teenagers tend to think. And also another thing: Shouldn't Shiroe and Naotsugu have new gear by now? At least that's how it was in the novel, and I believe that before this season premiere we were told by the creators that they were going to get new gear. Hm. |

| If anything I like the dude more now. I thought he was an ass back in season 1 when he just ignored the whole Round Table stuff. Of course, when he quickly agreed to help Shiroe I started to think maybe he's not that bad, but this episode just made him a lot more likable. |

| Great speech of William but Democracy is still annoying me. It's worth the episode for me - no matter what some may think - there will always be episode 9 (or was it 8?) which was a total waste of time imo. |
