| How did you find MAL, just looking at anime and came across it was looking for a listing site or somewhere else, curious to see how others found this site. I found this site while watching a anime reviewer called GRArkada who use to have his MAL list on his channel I clicked it and found it was a listing site (and I was looking for a listing site) where I could set shows I wanted to watch all together rather than a sticky note on my computer or a note on my phone... |

| Most likely Google. I believe I looked up "make an anime list" or some shit like that, idk as it was back in 2007. Made an account on this site, tried adding anime to my list, got to Bleach which had like 120 episodes out at the time, went with the plus sign to add episodes, after every episode added it asked me if I wanted to discuss an episode and didn't know how to turn it off, after 20 episodes I got annoyed and exited out of the site only to come back 3 years later when I really needed it. |

| By recommendation as well, so I could get a list and find some quick info about the Anime I was going to watch. But the community features like forums and clubs took me a few years longer to find. Actually, I had been aware of them, but I simply didn't care until around late 2013/early 2014. |
