hah yeah i got it. he got me a pair of headphones. he's an audiophile and thought my gaming headset's audio quality wasn't up to par :P

alright, i still got a week to do whatever i want to im gonna try to consume as much japanese media as possible
also i got a new game during the sale called shadow warrior 2 and its sooo good

hm... Koi to Uso right now is my favorite manga. it's got a very interesting gimmick but it's just paced really poorly later on (and it's ongoing)
other than that maybe read Senakagurashi. i think those are two where i wasn't tearing my hair out because of the main characters

i just got a bunch of money. my brother also bought me something and won't tell me what it is. it comes in tomorrow through the mail :p

he's definitely the smartest person i've ever known haha. too bad he's super lazy. i've never seen him even study for a test, he just sits at home and plays video games all day :S

i was watching the brotherhood one. never read the manga either, so i wasn't aware of the lack of character development. i got halfway through to the part where they're on the huge wall thing. it stalled a little there and school started so i never finished. my friends tell me to continue since they say that that part is probably a low point and that it will get better, so i will try to finish it soon!

yeah it's unfortunate... i'm trying to only read well-translated manga though. seems like ive been getting lucky since a lot of the ones ive been reading recently are pretty good as well :)

haha i couldn't even tell it was winter here. still sitting at a nice and cozy 11C. also its sunny out... :thinking:

hm... i'm probably gonna watch some when im on the plane. not so sure which ones yet, but maybe i'll finally get around to finishing fullmetal alchemist. started that in summer while i was vacationing in alaska and never made any progress when i got home!
i've been getting super hung up on reading manga though... unfortunately it's a more unrealiable medium. there's not much official support for it in English so it's harder to find fully translated series :///

haha yeah well the bay area has some of the most competitive high schools in America, and most of the students here are stereotypical asians heh.(myself included) there are also a lot of geniuses, like my brother who is probably the smartest person i have ever met... he aced every single standardized test he ever took on the first try and basically treated school as a joke lol, including probably the hardest university in the United States

sure, i've got a ton of time so i might as well watch some anime :D been reading some more manga recently but i'm kinda more in the mood for some moving pictures now xD
