| I'm not too annoyed but the lack of titans, but I do hope something pretty major happens soon. These aren't fillers, but they feel like fillers. I hope next week the king reveals something big and turns Erwin into a titan and releases him to the rest of the titans or something. |
| I felt extremely happy and surprised when I saw the abounded building was overflowing with citizens of Trost, I want for all the world to know any sort of central military police they have. I want all of them to be found out, every last one of them. I find it interesting, I mean the surname of Kenny, he has the same surname of Mikasa.. maybe he's from the same Family as Mikasa -_- Grimmm said: I'm not too annoyed but the lack of titans, but I do hope something pretty major happens soon. Too bad, as he is one my favourite characters with Levi, Hanji, Mikasa, Eren and Pixis. (Still I hope for the best... Maybe Pixis changes his mind and saves him somehow. He still has more power than the remaining SCs.) |

| ^ I think Erwin is about to be hanged, though. Logically, his conversation with the Fritz cannot happen after being put on the gallows, but before that. Second, Levi's squad movement and Hanji's advance develop differently in time (by a 24 hours difference). In Levi's timeline, Erwin has finished the conversation with the king (and is about to be hanged), in Hanji's timeline - he is summoned before the king. Besides, the only useful move Erwin has (in case nobody comes to help), would be to talk to the people, gathered around the gallows, and reveal that the king is fake and an usurper, planning to kill the rightful heiress, Historia Reiss, and create titans inside the human territory by feeding Eren to them. Something within these lines. |
| A great chapter, with lots of things going on and a nice cliffhanger at the end. I'm happy Hanji and Füller got their time to shine, and the mention of the minor's story was neat. Mikasa's reaction to the dude Levi was beating up mentionning Captain Ackermann's nickname was a pretty clear indication that she's got no idea who that nigga is, and we can assume Levi intentionally withheld the info from her up until now. We'll most likely get the whole story in the next couple chapters. I'm also 99% positive Erwin is going to be hanged. He does weigh a lot, but I can't help but feel he's already accomplished all he had to do. He's already passed the torch to other members of the Survey Corps he deemed worthy and reliable enough to carry on his will and finish what he started. I know a lot of people are disappointed because they want to see more titans (cause let's be honest, they can blame the pacing all we want, what their real problem is is the lack of titans), but I've really been enjoying the direction Isayama's been taking with his story a lot. The whole political stuff and corruption behind the wall has been handled very well, and despite all the talking I rarely ever got bored (save for a few transitional chapters between chp50 and 55). Anywayz, just to say I'm really really liking this arc. |

This could also mean that his known role as the Commander of the Scouting Legion is finished, but doesn't mean he can't adopt another role further in the manga. So, why kill him. Certainly, hanging on the gallows is one of the options he expected ever since the forest with the giant trees and Stohess, and if Eren proves to be not the trump card he has hoped him to be for the humankind area, then it all sums up to his situation in this chapter. I don't know what he could have possibly accomplished in the mean time, apparently took some beating and torture and ..., but by all means he was prepared. And he needs the audience for what is to come. Seeing him with his only hand tied up, it feels awful and ridiculous! Some kingdoms got revolutions for less! |

| To the people who are complaining that there is too much talking and politics in the series now, if you didn't expect this to happen then you clearly weren't thinking about it enough. From the beginning, there were things that didn't add up about the SnK world, from the construction of the walls to the mention of a monarchy without ever actually showing the king, and of course to the whole corrupted system to where the best soldiers were sent inside Wall Sina, where they didn't even have to fight titans. The fact that the military police were lazy and corrupt in general was another hint, as well as the disapproval of the survey corps while people tried to maintain a false sense of prosperity, even as they sent people outside to intentionally thin out the population. While, yes, the series was originally action-oriented, it literally wouldn't make sense for there NOT to be any politics involved. It was obvious that the society that humankind created for themselves was far from perfect with clear evidence of corruption beneath the surface. Honestly, fighting between humans was inevitable from the start, and if there were no politics involved, the series would truly feel incomplete and illogical. Okay, that's my little rant on that. I apologize. Anyway, I really enjoyed this chapter. It was great to see Hanji kicking ass and getting to convince more people of the MP's corruption. I'm worried for Erwin and think that it could go either way--while he is still very important to the story, if he were killed, it could become Hanji's responsibility to understand and decipher what his plans were and to try to put them into motion. Also, she is clearly a very capable commander and I have no doubt that she would be able to lead the survey corps just as well as Erwin did. |
| I'm personally just waiting for all this talking to be over and to see some action :/ Been pretty bored with the chapters for the past bit, but I feel like the author is setting the stage for the next exciting part so I'll try and wait patiently. |

| Finally... Getting right to the core inside the walls! Erwin giving his position as the Commander... He must've been ready to go all out. Well, yeah, that's the kinda guy he is. True that tortured Annie should've added up to their motivation, but thing is, Eren's got the Titan God power now. And that's the only thing they know from their last fight. They didn't know he was kidnapped by the Reiss, right? If I were them, I'd try to strategize first rather than risk having all titans outside the walls hurling at me under Eren's command. Aaah I also wonder... who knows where they are right now. Maybe reporting to the Ape Titan? Connecting to Ymir People? Lol I don't understand who's the bad guy now, at all. |

| Oh, the miner tales was told by who again at the beginning? I do remember that story, it had set the political intrigue. Flegel man up! He sat on that bastard face! I would hire him as my personnal throne! :D Sitting on the face of someone who betrayed you must be damn satisfying. Hange was pretty badass. But shouldn't she have been a bit dizzy, having been shot right next to the ear? That something to break your ear-drum. Levi is the best at interrogation. Dude is being annoying as fuck, just put your foot in his mouth. I also doubt the people are approaching them are enemies. They wouldn't have done a flashback of one day earlier showing Hange success otherwise. |

| Isayama Hajime should be awarded The Manga with The Highest Inconsistencies of Characters' Appearances. He keeps performing multiple plastic surgeries on those Shingeki No Kyojin characters in a SINGLE chapter. Yes, I've read up to the latest chapter of Shingeki No Kyojin manga. Forced myself to read through the kidsketching chapters after the anime's ended. At least from now on, I only have to go through the hell once a month. Patiently awaiting SNK TV/movie/OVA anime-sequel. The 2015 SNK live-action movie would probably suck. |

| Levi and co. just went in there and owned those fools xD Mustache guy took up a lot of time just to tell Levi to give up -_- Another Ackerman?! Could they have had any connection to each other at all? If so, prowess in combat runs in their blood. Hange is a full-on Splinter Cell elite, sneaking up like that and ambushing those MPs :o She didn't even flinch from having an old high-power rifle blast right next to her! Seeing those villagers emerge from the building was a great reveal! Lol at Flegel sitting on that fool xD Hange used Death Stare at Roy-san... Was it effective?! Erwin, NO! You won't have your last words yet! There's still so much to do for humanity... Fuck the government lel. |
