I was screaming yes at the end when Aila went with Reiji.

And too damn funny with Mao's master and Ral They should have made the east burn red!!!

LikeThis
I'm calling it now Ral was the first Meijin. It would have been even funnier if instead of the blue giant they call him the blue bomber (A little megeman humour)

And I bet when Sei stops worrying about damage to his gunpla he'll be even stronger than Reiji.

Come on I want a season 2!!! Sunrise Please Make it happen!!

I'm not crying I just had some plavski particles in my eye ;_; I really didn't want it to end, season 2 when?!

Seriously what a fantastic show, this is the show that every Gundam fan deserves. The moment the Master Gundam appeared was amazing. Haven't had this much fun watching an anime in a long time

so many plavsky particles in my eyes, that the ending scenes were blurry to me :') aaah this has seriously been one of the animes that i looked forward to watching every week and now it's over. what am i going to do without monday gunpla battles???

the good news is that I'm totally down to re-watch this again sometime soon. I just fell in love with every single character and it made me so happy with all the references and different models popping up here and there. It seriously gave me that last push to finally go out and buy some gunpla and get to work. they got to me, man and i don't regret a thing. I'm really gonna miss this show but i have hope for a second season!!

Simply too good. And also too much fun. I was surprised at the consistent level of quality throughout:the characters, ost, action, references, etc. It truly was a gift to Gundam fans, and hopefully a gateway into Gunpla for some new fans.

Really top tier.

There was nothing "solid" in this series, but it's still an almost decent timewaster. Its script is as trash as AGE's, even if it has a different purpose. I certainly didn't get any good hobby or sports feel from it.

Was a solid series overall but had a lot of lackluster times and episodes that I didn't like. Some battles went by too fast but what can you do? I'll give this a 7/10 since the Gundam's I usually watch are where people put their life on the line; can't rate this the same as those ones I've given an 8/9 out of 10.

7/10.

Man that was one great finale! Too bad they didn't really pilot "real" Gundam like I thought they would in this episode XD, but this is as it should be.

Holy crap Chinan and Ral are strong o.o!! Sei/Reiji weren't even close to being that strong!
Yay!!! Aila left with Reiji :DD!! And seriously what the hell does Baker see in that loser Chairman.

This is truly a Gem of a series for us Gundam fans, such a awesome show!

Really need another season! We need to know more about Reiji and his world!

Ral and Chinan's combo was golden aweseom, and Crossbone MAOH was just menacing.

Wished for a season 2 we're they finally manage to teleport back, or make a connection between 2 worlds. Nils and Caroline managed to replicate Plasky Particles in the ISS, so that future isn't farfetched.

OMG!! SERIOUSLY!?!? i don't think i have the words to describe how freaking EPIC!! it was :) Everything in this episode is just magnificent! Sunrise really went all the way with this episode which is awesome :). It has been awhile that i have watched something that get me all excited and pumped up!

At 06:54 the scene where Mao appears with his Crossbone Maoh is badass.
And at 08:36 just when i thought Mao appearance was badass enough, I totally didn't expected that Ral with his Gouf and Chinan's Master Gundam shows up and joins the fight too! So freaking EPIC!! The scene where Tatsuya with his Amazing Exia and Takeshi custom RX-78 Gundam appearing is so epic too!!

13:31 DAT Hyper T-Lin.. I mean Build Knuckle xD

Lastly, the scene where Reiji is disappearing and going back to Arian did managed to get me too >.<

Oh yeah if anyone is interested what is the name of the BGM song was playing at 04:22 the song of the title is called "Allied Force"

After watching the final episode, I'm tempted to give this a 9/10 instead of originally i was going 8 for the series. Now Gundam Build Fighters has ended, I hope i can find at least one good mecha anime in this upcoming airing in April. Captain Earth looks like a good choice :)

I'm have a feeling that Season 2 will eventually happen sometime in the future :)

Well... all i can say is Gundam Build Fighters is one of a best Gundam show in the series. And definitely better than AGE 10000 times better. Superb animation and visuals ? Check. Excellent music and VA ? Check. The only music that i dislike was the ED though,

You mean Hanpan Spirit by Hyadain? Preferences aside that was the most perfect song that they can use.

The song is literally about "Nostalgia and Hobbies" and in one part it says "whether you're a child or an adult, you can lose yourself in something", besides being the main point of the show it certainly relates very closely to Gunpla itself. If you understand the lyrics, it will incite nostalgia no matter what.

A satisfying end!!!

This was done very well and they put nearly all the characters into a particular role and the action was decent. I really liked the combo between Ral and Chinan and they are very powerful as individuals as well and that Crossbone Maoh was defintely lethal. Nice to see Takeshi in action for once even though it was very short and I liked how everyone worked together as a team to stop the Arista core. The last battle between Sei/Reiji and Yuuki was good but too bad it was interrupted. It was obvious that Reiji would eventually leave as well but he made a promise with Sei and perhaps they will meet each other again. Just when I thought Aila missed her chance to send off Reiji, she ends up going with him and much to her anger for Reiji being very dense. These two make a good couple!!

I liked the ending sequence showing everyone back to their normal lives and Nils and Caroline seem to have discovered a way of generating Plavsky particles. Nice to see a slightly grown up Sei and China in the one year timeskip and Sei keeps his promise and becomes a lot stronger and even creates a new gundam called 'Star Build Cosmos' and I wonder what those new features are? Perhaps they will revealed in a Gunpla model box or later hopefully?

Overall this I enjoyed this series more than I had expected. Being a Gundam fan myself, this was off course very different to the other hardcore series I have seen but I really like this change and seeing Gundams from different generations and timelines coming together was kind of cool. It certainly had a sport feeling to it and you can really feel the passion for these Gunpla Builders. The show itself was decent and provided a good view.

I particularly liked the way how they developed some of the characters as the battles progress, you encounter rivals and you learn things from one another and even changing the way how they perceive Gunpla battles which was very nice to see. It was also interesting to note that Sei actually had potential as a combat fighter as Reiji explained that it was due to Sei being protective of his creation thus limiting his potential as a combat fighter and I thought this was very important development for him and it certainly resulted in a lot of changes as seen in the time skip.

The question is whether we will get a sequel to this or not? I personally would like to see more from this series as there are still some unanswered questions and they kind of hinted for a second season with that the 'Star Build Cosmos' at the very end along with the promise so maybe we will get something? I guess it will depend on how popular the series is as well as the sales to determine whether we will get a sequel or not but I really want to see more defintely!!

Final Scores:

Art/Animation: 9/10
Story/Plot: 8/10
Characters: 9/10
Music: 8.5/10
Overall Score: 8/10

Episode Rating: 5/5

Thanks for pointing it out kaimax! I really appreciate it :) And i just finished rewatching episode 25 the second time, i noticed i was missing some stuff happening on the screen like Sengoku Astray Hammer plus Axe. I have absolutely no idea why did i managed to miss that when i first watch the episode. It can't be helped since the whole episode is filled of epicness and somehow it managed it slip off my mind xD

Both Sei and Reiji seiyuu did a awesome job! especially Sachi Kokuryu i didn't know Reiji was voiced by a female until i take another look on the cast list. a badass female indeed! I hope they will get more roles in the future!

What a way to end the show! The intensity of the last battle along with that epic soundtrack was just an awesome experience. Nice way to keep the goodbye and I'm glad Alia got to stay with Reiji.

This was such a fun show. I can only imagine how much more enjoyable it would have been had I seen other Gundam shows. I don't rank shows but this is very similar to Carnival Phantasm in the sense that it gives the fans "good fanservice" based on the respective worlds. Even as a newcomer, I was able to enjoy it thoroughly. Hope to rewatch this someday.

first of all. i avoided the show because i thought it would be just a big commercial for gunpla without much quality especially after age, but thankfully i was wrong.

sure it is still a big commercial for gunpla but on top of that it is an awesome gundam fanservice show

the star build strike vs gundam wing fenice was just so good.

the final battle reminded me a bit of when i used to watch yugioh and beyblade and suddenly the game mixes with the real world. awesome seeing all gunpla fighting together

loved the main plot about the plavsky particles allowing the gunpla models to be controlled. the sub plot with team nemesis and ppse was a bit annoying.

op end ed were good especially the first op. ost of the series was really good aswell.

you really should never judge a series too quick, could haved missed out on one of the most entertaining gundam series

8.5/10

+
-great battles
-likable characters
-creative story to make the gunpla move
-good music
-very entertaining

-
-the tournament rules were all over the place to make it more dramatic
-sub plot with nemesis and ppse
-some battles were very formulaic especially towards the end: build knuckle solves everything
-no important character had a custom epyon, just some random guy in the battle royale

YEAH! OBVIOUSLY! Talk about there's so many loose ends to tie! The question is:-

1. where's that douchebag Nine? You know, the one who make Aila suffer & turn Meijin into Exia Dark Matter? Did he just disappeared all of the sudden?

2. Why are they let that piece of shit Mashita escaped?!

Aside from being repetitive and predictable this was a pretty decent show 6/10.

Glad they kept the shipping intact with Aila going with Reiji to Arian.

One year timeskip,I guess Sei did get stronger if he managed to make it to the preliminaries of the world championships.

Hope to see the mandatory Reiji vs Sei final in the sequel.

Ral and Chinan moment was amazing.
Mao best gunpla boy.

I keep saying that this series was fun but truly I had a smile on my face the majority of the time.
Some victories and some moments were a bit of a stretch but that didn't dwindle my enjoyment.

Definitely something new for the kids but also cares for the older and/or die-hard fans as well with so many callbacks to the older series.
Despite predictability issues it never lost sight of these two things and that was the greatest thing about it for me.

Also glad that Yuuki had at least somewhat of a chance to fight without the mask.
Reiji was aloof until the end. I'm actually surprised he didn't (or couldn't) come back to see Sei again.
I thought for sure he's pop back in at the last second.
Hopefully we can see everyone 7 years later in the sequel.

Hey, it was pretty nice overall. It was refreshing to watch this (just like Ginga e Kickoff!!) because it was pretty light hearted and fun overall. No trippy mindfcks or dark shounen plot at all. The characters were fun, although one dimensional. The battles were alright too, even if I'm not an action-fan in the first place. 7/10

Definitely watching the sequel.

I was debating whether or not to drop the series, but it's become really awesome towards the end, notably 20th episode.
Really great show, a bit childish at first, but gets really fun for all audiences, and the soundtrack is real good, too. I'm gonna watch the sequel for sure.
I also think it did the romance elements pretty well.

While this show might not be the typical Gundam show, it defiantly deserves it be ranked with the best of them. The plot while simple, was fun. The action was top notch. The characters were good. The Romance didn't feel forced. The cameos and references were enough to make many a Gundam fan geek out. The comedy was actually well executed. Really, the only part I was meh about, was the baseball fight. It was just too out there. Other wise, there was not an episode I didn't like. The ending managed to be emotional, with out being to cheesy.

If this show was a marketing attempt to sell more Gunpla, then they succeed. I know what I'll be getting with my next check.

9/10 Lets hope the sequel is just as good, if not better.

I admit, I picked this up solely because of the /ss/ fanbase but I ended up really liking this series. It didn't linger too long on explanations, the plot progressed concisely and dropped all the information it needed to to be satisfying and feel complete. The fights and the way the tournament played out were interesting, lots of good characters.

That was a fun ride. I wasn't expecting Aila to follow Reiji.

It's a shame they decided to add the evil chairman. He tried his best to drag this show down. So much time was wasted on him and his plans. They should've just focused on the Gunpla players. Let us learn more about them.

7/10

I'm looking forward to Season 2.
