| That first frame was a warning of what you are gonna get of this series (unless you have read the novel, of course. So it's up to you if continuing or get the hell out of here. How nice of them. Haven't read the novel, so any opinions I have will be anime only. So good so far. They gave us a bit of info about everything, from characters to scenario. Not really into the OP and ED, but I guess in the case of the ED is because I haven't read the novel. Ah, but this time I'm gonna also check the production staff. Hmm...the director seems decent enough, but the one in charge of the script....welp, gonna see how it works out. Sakori said: The sleepy girl is mine, you lot can have the rest. The same studio it's okay, I love Lerche, although I do not like the way they draw the eyes. The main thing is that the characters had charisma. |

| Not only did Souta end up being a magical girl with large breasts, but she's also the cutest in the group. I don't care that she's a boy. Still my waifu. please don't steal. That was a cool twist, and little things like that are enough to build interest in a series. I thought this was a decent episode. I'm a sucker for magical girl anime with darker undertones, too. |

| I NEED MORE BLOOD!!! But this episode was pretty good. I've been hyped for this for a while now and so far I think it is meeting my expectations. Hard to judge by the first establishing episode but I'm definitely going to be keeping up with this one. But that cliffhanger though! |

| It's obvious that this show will pull a Madoka sooner rather than later. Just whether it succeeds is a different story. The main difference was that Madoka was exploring incredibly deep themes right from the beginning, while this show seems to have a distinct lack of any. I don't see any references to 17th century classical literature anyway. Also, traps and decent English. I approve. |

| The first minute or so caught my attention. A magical girl standing with dead or almost dead girls around her with an evil smile on her face and then killing a big monster or whatever shows that even though this episode was predominantly lighthearted, it'll get pretty dark soon. Koyuki is a mahou shoujo fan and her dream comes true when she becomes a magical girl thanks to kyuubei's distant cousin. And she quickly gets the hang of things. All magical girls will stay with their identities hidden. People will only have vague memories of them and all pictures of them would be blurred with them being censored or something. So Koyuki, or Snow White, goes all out with helping people, even more since her power is to hear the voices of those in trouble. I liked that magical girl chatroom. That was pretty cool. And La Puce takes over training her who turns out to be a god damn guy! Wtf! I thought that Sou would only be there to show that even hardcore magical girl fans have lost interest except for a few like Koyuki. But it turns out that Fav liked the idea of having a guy become a mahou shoujo. Lol at where Koyuki was looking when La Puce said that she's probably completely a female. And the ending was interesting. Fav got all these girls to become mahou shoujos and now he's cutting them down to eight which means that the rest would have to stop being mahou shoujos. I kinda expected them to take some time in introducing this setting but whatever. It's going to get interesting. But depending on what fate awaits the other magical girls this can fail pretty easily. If they're killing off characters then they've got 15 girls in need of some character development of whatever level otherwise it wouldn't feel right, unless the main purpose is to show what Koyuki goes through as the generic mahou shoujo thrown into a world of despair. But even then the other mahou shoujos need to become something more than just background characters with zero everything. This was a pretty interesting episode. It was lighthearted overall in stark contrast to the first minute. I'm waiting for the time when the show gets dark with the despair kicking in. Should become cooler then. But for now I think they're going to take things a bit slowly with everyone taking this decision by Fav lightly before going serious when the situation gets desperate. |
| I'm getting vibes from Madoka Magica....but I can't quite put my finger on why. Kidding, it has magical girls and Fav, who I'm willing to bet will be the next Kyuubey. Fav definitely fits the bill on being like Kyuubey. Adorable looking, happy tones and how nonchalant he was when he announced that the amount of magical girls will be cut in half. I'm pretty sure this will be a killing game considering the first minute of the episode was a blood bath and there is too many characters on this show to be given a story or kept alive. Saori Hayami! I had no idea she was in this until I heard her! As for Fav, holy shit...shut up please. Anyways, though there are a lot of similarities between Madoka Magica and Magical Girl Raising Project, I'm still excited enough to see where this goes and I will stop comparing the two series. Finally, Nano is the ED song, you can never go wrong with Nano! 3/5 Very light hearted episode. I hope shit properly hits the fan soon after viewing the beginning of the episode and hopefully we don't have to wait long. Also La Pucelle is Sou?! Damn...Fav is definitely evil if he made a guy lose his dick and gave him boobs. |

| IT WAS A TRAP! I haven't really seen or heard of male 'mages' so when Souta actually wanted to be one, I'd never given thought of it as a hint or a wild guess to what will happen later. Like most have said, this episode was really a bit lighthearted. Also got mixed feelings for some character designs, but Snow White looked really nice especially her eyes. Looking forward to that scene though. Maybe this was all just the calm before the storm. 4/5 |

| Pretty weak start. The episode was very rushed , because I guess they want to get to the dark stuff asap. I really don't like the costumes either. It's one huge mess of completely different designs. The transformation sequence was very weak as well. Maybe it gets better next episode, but I'm not holding my breath. |

If you are slightly familiar with the manga, you will know that shit becomes real pretty soon <3 However, the first one was kinda slow paced, but still introduced some girls quite well. And yeah, the character design is freaking fantastic. Ripple stole my heart in an instant. |
| Eh, it's a serviceable introductory episode I guess, not bad but not impressive either. Hopefully it'll become more entertaining from here on. |
| Never watched Madoka, so apart from Mahou Shoujo of The End, this will probably be my second dive into the world of dark Magi-Girls. 15 girls go in, and only 8 get to stay, eh? Sounds like Fate/Apocrypha there. I'm game. Let the killing selections begin! Looking forward to seeing who teams up with who in this killing game. Also I think that mascot is shady. Why make 15 Magi-Girls if you're going to cut down half of them in a month? That Monokuma wannabe definitelt planned this out. And seriously this season's OPs and EDs are so damn good! |

| I'm worried for La Pucelle because she's the main character's friend from her childhood which means she's already got a death flag. I love all the character designs tho, there is a real variety and I'm happy with the slow start as it gives a stronger build up in my opinion. |

| I'm quite hyped for this, especially because of Megumi Ogata (I kinda want her character to be like Nagito just like her chara in Regalia is), I sometimes forget she can voice female characters haha I love her soooo much Right before the episode played I was like "what if there isnt enough blood and all"? Then first second of the anime with all those bodies and blood and despair and i got relieved haha Can't wait for next week! |
| The beginning of this episode seemed pretty dark but the rest of was pretty happy making me wonder where this is really going. The mascot character being black and white also seems to suggest something is going to happen later on. Which makes me look forward to what this anime will really be like. |

| For the most part, a cute episode. Pretty fun, typical magical girl setup. I'm definitely getting some Kyuubey vibes from Pon, and with it setting up to have more dark parts, I hope it doesn't turn out to be like a madoka magica rip-off. That being said, madoka magica is the only magical girl anime I've seen before this one so maybe it can't be helped that magical girl anime will all be similar? OP and ED are good. Song-wise, very much so. The visuals are nothing special though. It's always nice to hear nano. But yes,I'll definitely be continuing to see where this goes. Oh and it really is surprising that guys can be magical girls. They even gave him oppai >o< I think it's a pretty fine twist though. I've never been against the trap trope lol. |
| Only wtf moment is that one mahou shoujo is a man, what the fuck. Even by japanese standards I find that to be quite off putting. Character designs are nice, but the whole premise is a bit far fetched... a cellphone program that grants super powers? A strange being that randomly decides that the amount of girls needs to be halved? Sounds too much like shitrai nikki. |

| The opening scene was nice, but the rest really did seem a bit too light-hearted and sparkly - honestly, I think that there should've been quite a different atmosphere. The info-dump also seems a bit much, they could've just gradually explained most of those district/team/pair things when the time arose - I think that it'd have been better if they introduced the "Halving" somewhere in the middle or near the end of first episode, just to properly set everything into place. |

| This first episode was decent, already seeing many Madoka Magica comparison and I hope they're not right or I'll end up dropping this as well. Don't have high expectations for this anyway, I'm not a fan of Magical Girls just giving this a chance because of the studio animating it also animated Assassination Classroom and Danganronpa. Following the 3 episode rule before deciding if this will be dropped or not. |

| Nice setup episode. Premise is interesting, but it will boil down to execution. I'm expecting at least a good number of good action and fight scenes. Bonus points for a well developed and coherent story. Favourite character so far = La Pucelle And the ED is really good... |

| Not really my genre of choice but I figured if it was on my FAL team I ought to at least try watching it. Pleasantly surprised. Starts with a bloody scene and ends with some gender bending. I might enjoy this more than I thought I would ;D |
