I am not a fan of any ships in this particular series, but I just had this thought. Btw, at this point It's very apparent in the manga she likes him. I was a bit surprised on hinami but it made sense in a way. Best imouto gives up her love for otp. also |
| I thought the episode was pretty good, no action but there was some plot development. More Kaneki this time:) Hinami and Touka too:) Tsukiyama ლ(´ڡ`ლ) still weird af... Eto was pretty cool too. Also nice to see Juuzou act uncomfortable during the interview. Only thing missing besides action were my two twin one-eyed ghouls :( |

| Just when I start to respect Tsukiyama a bit more, he goes to the restroom to snort some delicious Kaneki blood... I like how Hinami had a chance to see Kaneki, but chose to run off and tell Touka instead. It's nice to see how much she cares for her. |
| Good Episode! Tsukiyama being Tsukiyama. Saying English words and sniffing Kaneki's blood in the bathroom. I didn't post this in the episode 4 of season 1, but the classical music that is being played when Tsukiyama is sniffing the handkerchief is amazing! It fits the scene so well! The Hinami scenes were so cute! :3 EDIT: What the hell was up with the opening scene?! It looked like a threesome. |

| That Tsukiyama scene, LOL. They seriously went overboard with him, it was uncomfortable to watch in a good way. Touka confronting Kaneki is another of my favorite scenes from the manga, looks like Ishida definitely knows what the fans like and what to include. Can't wait for next week. |

| Pretty meh episode overall, but Tsukiyama having screentime automatically makes it a 4/5. Shinohara pretty much knows who Yoshimura is after meeting him, so Anteiku's days are numbered. Love how oblivious Juuzo is to everything. And... the bridge encounter finally happened. At least it's over with now, but that scene is the main reason for my hatred of Touka. Seriously, 10 minutes later: "Maybe i shouldn't have lashed out at him...''. Lol, you think? Who knows, hopefully there's a small chance that, since the anime is an alternate route, at the end she'll actually... uhh, nevermind. No spoilers... The anime is following the manga very closely, don't understand what was the need of making Kaneki go over to Aogiri, it did nothing but shorten his screentime by 90%. Figures Kaneki's conversation with Yoshimura would get skipped, though... I love Tsukiyama. 4/5 |

| Ah, Tsukiyama being crazy is kind of nostalgic. Kaneki deserved every punch, go Touka. Aaaaand the ccg is now sniffing around Anteiku. Well, seeing as they're not following the manga, I only hope that they'll end in a similar way (because the last few chapters are just epic) and will proceed to animate Tokyo Ghoul:re :D |

| Oh yeah, forgot to mention that it seems like Studio Pierrot are Kaneki x Hinami supporters, since she didn't get that much focus on in the manga, nor did she pretty much confirm she likes Kaneki as her first love with all that blushing. Oh, well. I don't particularly mind, but i wish she somehow found out what Tsukiyama was actually doing in the bathroom. |

| Definitely my favorite episode so far. It wasn't clear in the manga but the anime makes it looks like Hinami does have romantic feelings for Kaneki. Loved the Kaneki and Touka moment. Lol Touka is a tsundere indeed... regrets what she does after. I still feel like Kaneki joining Aogiri was stupid and don't understand the purpose of it so far. Maybe it'll be more relevant in the second half. Juuzou was cute this episode. He was actually shy around Takatsuki. Also, it was nice to have Tsukiyama this episode. |

| So those ghouls hunters are onto to them and they might actually find out that there are some ghouls in the cafe because of that bitch with purple hair, and I am the only one who notice that kaneki in this episode kind of look like naruto four tail beast transformation at the begin of this episode when his Kagune was coming out. |

| EL DORADO. EUPHORIAAAAAA. Nice ep was nice. Not as good as the manga, but good nonetheless. I like that they included some nice pyschological stuff in Kaneki's character, but, didn't that scene with Jason and Rize take place in the final chapters of the manga? Huh. The ending was gold as usual. |
| I laugh every time tsukiyama is on screen. The writers think he's a joke lmao but I'm still laughing at the El Dorado scene. Kaneki still emotionless. I wish we had a way to see his thoughts in the anime. Good job touka. well, Hinami yelling (?) at the end was odd. I don't know why they put that. also, hinting at hinamixkaneki... I don't really like that. She's like, what, 9? 10? and Kaneki is 20? |

| Great episode, rapid developments and big changes in the plot, it appears that will return to the manga's plot, then this will be the final bow Hiname is always very cute, good 'fight' too between Touka and Kaneki, but the real fights will start now .. |

| Plenty of glorious Tsukiyama moments(one can never have too much Miyano) coupled with some touching moments from Hinami and last but certainly not least, Touka & Kaneki. This episode stood pretty damn well on it's own, which is quite something considering the lack of build-up from the previous. Still waiting to see what's going on in Kaneki's head though but I guess this was a start. Trying to become stronger to make sure his close ones as well as himself don't get hurt, which also means coming to terms with the fact that he's going to have to hurt others. He probably went to Aogiri to force that mentality upon himself. I guess that's the general gist of it anyway but the lack of ANY details is still annoying. |

| I feel conflicted. On one hand, this was probably the most well adapted episode from the manga out of both seasons so far...sans premiere episode. Honest to god for how much shit I give this show for being god awful, had you not known Kaneki joined Aogiri instead of forming his own group, you wouldn't have been able to tell the difference. On the other hand, knowing that they made this episode basically word for word from the manga, but also knowing that Kaneki isn't with his group, still automatically makes this feel subpar to the manga. Also...the Tsukiyama thing was a bit overdone. They probably just did it for the lulz. The more I keep watching this season the more I keep saying: If they were going to adapt 80-90% of the manga material, and really only change what Kaneki does post torture...then why not just stick to the original story? Honestly, had they just kept Kaneki doing his thing from the manga, I probably wouldn't have much to complain about this season because everything else was actually adapted decently. But now we're left with Kaneki basically being half crazy/half pussy with almost no dialogue...basically a support character. Which also led to some weird mash-ups like adding the cochlea arc, but trying to combine some of the Dr.Kanou parts into it. They could've kept this rushed pace, with the original story, and still be where they are at the end of this episode, and it would be a thousand times better. |

| In one word : Disappointing. Disappointing because of his lack of information, first there's a lot of unnecessary scenes, we have Tsukiyama (the guys who's been defeated by Kaneki) doing his usual ritual, secondly there is that girl called Ms. Taskatsuki trying to convince Hinami that if she is not strong enough she won't be able to help Kaneki (his "big brother") then she went to CGG to interview an investigator and once again, we'll learn nothing. We'll found out a little bit later that Kaneki went to the coffee shop to talk to Yoshimura, but again this time we'll learn that he just wanted to talk about him returning to the coffee shop (though we did not see their conversation). And the icing on the cake, we'll learn (in fact we already knew why, but it was not as clear as it is now) that if Kaneki went to Aogiri, it was to get stronger in order to protect them. I won't talk about the whole second season though there's a lot to say, but i at least wanted to give you my opinion about this episode. |

| I see Tsukiyama is doing well. Good to know he's still as creepy as ever. Touka and Kaneki finally meeting again after so long...umm, don't know what to think of that reunion. Looking forward the next episode. |

| Ghoul really is a work of art. Especially Tsukiyama's nutty ahegao Last season I thought Hinami was a bit stupid, this episode made me feel that even more. Seriously even if its to make it more dramatic it just seems retarded to run all the way to the freaking library. She needs to learn how to use a phone Touka is super rude, thats what makes her her hahaha very good. No pukey Touka in the Shinohara scene but thats some straight up good build up |
