If you want to discuss the manga though, please do so in the manga sub-board. ---------------------------------------- Pretty intense episode. It sure didn't waste time highlighting what the One Eyed Ghoul can do. Action overall was pretty fun to watch between the various battles. Interesting to see how they highlighted some of the battles:  Good usage of soundtrack as well. I think the most intense parts are still the One Eyed Ghoul though. Truly a monstrosity.  |

| The animation was good overall. Some choppy scenes but it was not like ep 4. Based Yoshimura making me cry like a bitch. Juuzous happy face was nice too. We should give credit to pierrot for putting the animation where it matters when it matters. |

| Wow! That was beautiful! Yoshimura's death was so friggin touching. Much more than the manga if I may say... The way they used the flashbacks of before-after for the crew integrated with Kaneki changing and ending it with Ukina was so sad ;_; He was just getting gangraped there goddammit!! Dem Suzuya moves doe! :3 The end was goosebumps inducing!! Kaneki standing there all sad confronted by Amon and an army behind him. And then the real One eye OWL appearing like a FREAKIN MONSTER!! Friggin HUGE!! DAMN HYPE! RIP CCG XD Let the limb losing arc commence :P Dat OWL GRIN at the end XD The first half with Irimi and Koma was awesome too. Gotta love how Ken saved them both like a BOSS!! BEASTLY >.<! Loving how Hide is being shown here and there. Still wondering what role Touka will play. So Arima nxt week?? >.< |

| This episode was incredible, by far the best of this season and the best episode since 12. Gotta give Pierrot credit where it's due, this is what they were saving the budget for this season for, this arc. And it's paying off. How far is next episode going to go? We're definitely getting Owl vs pretty much the entire CCG and Amon vs Kaneki, are they going all the way to V14? "Deluge of Flowers" sure seems like it V14 deserves it's own entire episode imo, but they will probably split it over two episodes and combine it with a quick wrap up of the last chapter of TG. They've done an amazing job of adapting this last arc, especially considering the limited number of episodes they had to work with. |
| That monster at the end was Yoshimura's daughter? Bloody hell. Hope she goes on a rampage and decimates the CCG. Hopefully Kaneki demolishes Amon as well. And Hide's presence at the battle is certainly very interesting. It'll be interesting to see if they have him meet Kaneki again before all is said and done. |
| I don't have any complaints with this episode, it was absolutely splendid from beginning to end I love the parts where they connected Yoshimura with all the guys back at Anteiku and it was great to see the gang reflect on their lives :cry: Action was on point as well with great performances by everyone in this episode both on the Ghoul side and the Investigator side. Suzuya was an absolute BEAST and Kaneki just went and rekt everyone like a badass Hide and Touka be lurking in the shadows.....I don't like where things are going :( I wonder if they will change Hide's role in this arc. Great to see Amon, Takizawa and Akira putting in work as well Her entrance was just fabulous and manga readers everywhere knows what's about to go down so I'm fucking HYPED Shit is going down next week though....Amon vs Kaneki (I cannot wait to see this animated) |
