Good animation...
but god damn, so many irregular plot trying too hard to amuse the audience...

MC is relentlessly stupid... i mean, for someone who manages a mystery blog? he carelessly leave a bloody evidence with his freaking fingerprint and then proceed to smear the bloody hand all over his body...seriously man?

a self-proclaimed otaku-private detective genius? what the hell man! this is too farfetched!

I might held prjudice for 2 early episode, but i'll keep my expectation at low point. Who know, it night surprise me...

The pace is slower this episode. Still makes little to no sense.

Seriously, stop jumping around and pick a main story to build around and a protagonist. One more episode of this non-story and I'm dropping this, because this is getting ridiculous. You can't make a series that makes sense only on rewatch.
guess you didn't watch Baccano. it doesn't have a main character, there is many time skips It is regarded as a masterpiece by many and in the end all the pieces fall in place. Also there story building like the hair that appeared in the mailbox was the doctor's hair. The dr. Has a son (at least I think he is the same person that died in the Fortune.) Which is the guy with the glasses and black hair. There are some other things. But this post is getting long, and I don't want to write thumbs down

Well the pacing is a bit better, even though still chaotic. Titty monster still haunts the show.

The good news is that the pacing is more manageable.

The bad news is that its now falling under the same boat that Summer 2015's Ranpo Kitan: Game of Laplace was apart of. IE: Edgy mystery that barely makes sense. At least the characters in Durarara were memorable. This has like 2 characters that I'll remember, fortune teller (because she calls every one of her followers sick puppies) and big boobs (because she's overly loud).

Enjoyed this more than the first episode. Pace slowed down as many are saying definitely. I think the concepts covered in this episode were a bit more engaging than that of the first two, salvaged the show for now for me.

I don't understand how the series is getting 6.60 score.

I haven't read the LN and I am judging based on the anime only. So far, the anime is far more interesting and has far better arts than the vast majority of score 7 and many score 8 animes.

Someone on Reddit did a little summary on this episode.

''The girl that was obsessed with her brother that they were talking about is the girl that puts curses on people. She put a curse on the main character which caused him to stumble upon the dead corpse and the knife.
The fortune teller foretold SARAI's fathers death. His father is the guy that was killed and scalped.
And then the woman who wrote the doujinshi about the guy getting his tooth pulled and stuff is being set up as the culprit for this incident, as well as the incident revealed at the very end, with the fortune tellers friend sending her a sketchy picture.'' - RedTurtle78

well, this helps alot

First episode was just weak and really fast (the constant boobs didn't help) and being written by the same guy that created Steins;Gate, people are feeling an extreme let down. But they probably shouldn't expect Steins;Gate out of something different. 6.6 sounds about right for the first episode to me, but if the show continues on the route of the second episode, I'd feel that score is a little low, we'll have to see near the end. MAL ratings don't matter in the end anyway, look at Kimi no Na wa.

This episode doesn't feel rushed like last week's although I have to re-watch the scenes with the date to understand the flow of the story. This week there's more of the tarot card girl story even though her tarot is a bit strange but based on my own opinion I guess she have the power to see the future even if she didn't use the card (?) and hope her friend is save though.

And yes, even if I don't want the male lead to get caught as a suspect but in addition to his stupidity in touching the knife from last week's episode he has to actually listen to some stranger's direction and went to take out the Professor's tooth while stepping on the face. I wonder how many traces of him did he actually leave behind in the crime scene.

The hat guy by his way of conversing is he someone from the future? And the younger sister who live with the deceased brother is it the same girl as the one who could curse on others? Argh, so many questions that's in my mind. Hope next week's episode won't disappoint.

Why I somehow feels a lot of people here being extremely used with being spoonfeed with expositions and explanations and then now they can't even piece together things on their own? With just a little bit thinking it's easy to see the connections within all the multiple events going on.

There we go, it just had to slow down.

It's still a bit fast tbh, or perhaps the plot is just way too fragmented.

I like the visuals and the music, the OP/ED are actually great.

Feel like this show is a bit underappreciated compared with the crap that get rated 7+ on this website honestly.

Pretty decent episode, Things are flowing much better now.

Let me see if I got what happened in this episode right.

Myu's success with fortune telling is disturbing certain people and as such they are trying to call her fortunes fakes by making prank calls.
MC whose name still evades me came into contact with somekind of supernatural talking object that made him pull a key(Wow) out of the professor.
The otaku detective who seems like an interesting guy points out the similarity of this case to a manga doujin written by a woman. The doujin's scenario is similar in the sense that one of the guys kills another and removes his tooth and keeps it as a memory of the guy he killed, He also talks about a certain list and if it exists in this world or not. He seems to have erased a hint towards the list The dying message 'Code' that the professor wrote to prevent the other guys from catching onto it.
Myu and the big boob girl meet the girl who was with the hair last episode and ask her to put a demonic curse on the MC, This kind of plays out ironically due to the fact that the MC could have been dragged into the problem by the very occult he dishes out on his website.
Myu receives another call from a person trying to discredit her, This turns out to be the son of the dead professor and it appears he had issues with his dad. Myu's prediction is right and is later seen talking to the Otaku detective about the son.
There's some story about a girl with an unhealthy attraction towards her brother who at some point actually died, Dead professor believed it was a ghost. Earlier post in the forums state that this is actually the curse girl. Now if this is true then the transparent thing she always seems to be talking to might be her brother.
The curse girl accuses said transparent entity as the killer, The entity denies this saying someone else got to him first, This also suggests that the entity wanted to kill the professor at some point.
Finally, Myu's friend seems to have been captured by the author of that doujin and sent Myu a picture of a Ghost hand.

That's a lot of stuff, Let's see where this leads.

Seems like one of those SOL, supernatural shows laced with speed or something. Sorry but at this point the most interesting thing is still that chick's utters. I feel like I've been down this road two or three times and it's always leads to some half baked premise with one or two good ideas tied to a cement block in the middle of a lake.

Well the only connection between O; 9 and the other ";" series is that they have the same original creator. The stories don't have any connection with each other since O; 9 is set in a different universe.

Hmm this episode was a massive step up from the first episode
Its nice how they are managing to link each of the main characters in the story to the case

So Miyu does a live stream on fortune telling eh
interesting. NicoNico though is a good medium to use as its way more popular in Japan than YouTube.

Miyu is just so energetic and positive huh
So she's actually a schoolgirl idol eh
im glad that Miyu has a good friend

Im liking the fact that each episode seems to focus on a different character
Miyu is so more interesting than the mc

Hmm so killing the professor wasn't enough
you had to yank his hair off as well lol
But that ties in with Miyuki's character the curser

The voice on the radio sure is interesting
its like it knows what just happened even though he shouldn't

That detective though looks fishy
he's clearly more than a usual detective

a key hidden with the gold tooth
smart

Wow Miyu is a pretty brave person
even when under such pressure she completely blows off Sarai like that
Her powers though are really something and she's pretty honest

Lol Ryouka is such a funny girl
Cursing the mc for two timing even though they aren't really
together lol

Aria though is an interesting character
and man she charges a lot for her curses
So Aria was that girl with the mummy eh
such a unhealthy attachment to your brother
And the devil spirit that she seems to know as well

Hmm looks like Miyu's friend is gone
and that woman in the end killed her

I like the mystery in this show.

But there are still many jumps and scenes which somehow are related or not (difficult to judge). Sometimes still something confusing, but let's see how the next episodes will be.

well, this is mildly interesting, but I'm far from sold. there are many differents plot threads that don't add up to an interesting narrative, so the viewer is still left hanging. I really hope more things start tying up in the next 1-2 episodes.

Most of the girls are pretty.

The pace was noticeably slower, but still little of it was understandable, especially detective-san's phone call, which is not a particularly good thing. It means it lost a unique descriptor and didn't gain anything from it.

Well, I like this enough to wait. This was slightly better towards the end too.

The victim had a full size key in one teeth, there's no way in hell a full size key fit in his jaw! Let alone pulling it so easily with the complex and antique design it had.
But oh well, the episode started better than the previous. Maybe it's because the MC doesn't talk much and as fast as the first episode.

Albeit the pace is faster than the previous episode's, it is still too fast. As consequence I feel near no attachment to the characters and their stories.

I do feel that they are rushing this so much just for the excuse of having to rewatch all the anime just to catch and understand the hidden hints and details we do not see at first. That in my opinion is a bad direction. While it is true that as a rewatch you should notice and comprehend new things and details you did not when you first saw it, you should not depend on it to fully understand the plot. It's not like it should be like you have to watch it twice just to come to the level of understanding you get after watching a good anime once.

In the end, the only salvageable are the OP and the ED.

I'm glad the pacing slowed right down for this episode, so I could at least understand what's going on a bit better.

The detective seems like a chill guy, although the other detectives wasn't in the mood for his reasoning of the crime scene being similar to one in a doujin manga.

The whole fortune telling and curse telling was easier to connect now and it does explain why our MC encountered the corpse. Despite that, he had very little screentime at all.

Overall, this episode was good, although I still feel confused at times. =/
