| Apart from the scene where Hotaru got drunk, I didn't really think anything in this episode was very funny. I suspect the show's humor is just not for me, but I'll give it at least another episode to win me over. |
| Well this was super entertaining. I loved almost every minute of it. Just an all around fun show so far, and I like both of the female characters a lot. The humor reminds me of some moments of Gintama especially Katsura and his stories, and Hotaro's. |

| Nice, slow episode. I have zero knowledge of japanese candy so some of the comedy bits featuring those sweets didn't elicit much of an reaction from me. Hotaru's antics did amused me seeing how she got drunk from a non-alcoholic drink and her exaggerated movements. 3/5 "Do you want to become an adult with me?" HELL YES ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) |

I remember the Giant ones, and how some of them had very incorrect Type-Advantage relationship (like Jynx being referred as effective against Poison-Type but through her ICE-Type '-'). Anyway this was a fun episode. Interesting how this series is so calm about its setting yet manages to deliver. I cannot imagine how more you can develop things in this setting so I'll leave it to the story to surprise me. Hotaru is an incredibly amazing girl. Her eccentric personality sells, not to mention she is quite sexy too. I like her a lot. Saya-chan is nice too, but Hotaru manages to steal the spotlight by virtue of being "herself". |

| Umai umai bo bo bo bo bo XD Are those K-On parody on the menko cards? at first I thought "lol Hotaru was holding an Azunyan card arguing with Ritsu". The uniform is similar. I also found those wrapped candy joshi kousei really cute for some reason XD Sangaz said: Didn't like her as Jessica in the new Dragon Quest game either, come to think of it. Probably down to her voice just not being what I imagined for both characters. Don't think it matches an erotic character I guess. Uhh.. Kiss x Sis? Okusama ga Seitokaichou? granted she may not be that fitting for Jessica (I don't know, I've never played the Japanese version of DQ) but I think Ayana fits Hotaru just fine. She at least managed to capture the craziness. |

| The comedy is a bit slower paced, which I appreciate. I chuckled a lot throughout the episode, and laughed about twice. Hotaru is stupid, ridiculous, and amazing. Love her to death. I though Saya was a lot better in episode 1, but that's just me. Overall, I enjoyed it a lot. I noticed that people are saying that they didn't really laugh, and while the jokes didn't all have me laughing out loud, none of them really fell flat either. Plus it was entertaining, and pretty much worth it for Drunk Hotaru. |

| This was a pretty dang hilarious episode, It really had me laughing from the start to finish. Hotaru really is a big contender for that #1 girl of the season right now because she is just so funny, from the breast scene to the do you want to become an adult with me, it will be raw but safe then to her being drunk just had me laughing really hard. They also give us some Saya with the menko part which was also pretty funny to see their reactions to her doing so good for her first time. I honestly cannot wait to see how they continue to entertain us with this comedy and if it will continue to stay funny. | Episode 2 Lol this is just so stupid. "Left Hand of God" lol. Hotaru didn't know about this secret move. The comedy hit all the right points. Hotaru is damn crazy (and sekushi) and makes every situation hilarious. She had some pretty cool stories. Coconuts just got another enemy as Saya wants him to takeover the shop otherwise he will then eventually go away to another place for his manga leaving her as she would still have to tend to her coffee shop. This stuff is just too funny, man. Brilliant stuff. |

| I wasn't really convinced by the 1st episode, so I was waiting for the following. And I really enjoyed this one! I love Hotaru, what a crazy girl! x) And Saya is so cute ♥ And very skilled |
| I now know more about candy than I used to. And card throwing techniques. Kind of reminds me of Himouto crossed with Food Wars. Just not as good as either. Now I miss Himouto. SHE knew how to eat her junk food! |

| Ayy, ramune whistle candy were the shit when I was a kid XD Aside from being nostalgic at some of these candies (like the hard fruit candies in a can that Hotaru had last episode but showed up for only a few seconds), I find the comedy alright. I don't think it's my type of humor, although the last segment did get a few laughs out of me. Kokonotsu and Hotaru's faces at Saya's natural skills were pretty funny. I'll give it an episode or two to see if this is a keeper. I agree that this is sort of niche anime, and I can see how people find this funny. Maybe I'm just tired. |
| The more I watch this show, the more I feel like this is the kid-friendly version of Prison School. Super serious, super dramatic all the time. Just a lot of fun. |
| Saya's cute. This feels a little like Non Non Biyori with heavy emphasis on the candy store. Not as relaxing, but really educational in a way to learn all about dagashi and the old days. 3.5/5 for this episode. |

| Hmm, the first part was average, but I really liked the second bit with the card flipping game. Plus Saya is just plain adorable haha I remember collecting and playing that game with the small round discs that were in bags of chips back in the day, as someone else mentioned. Had Pokemon and Looney Tunes images on them. Great stuff ^^ |

| This is one of those shows, that the exaggerated imaginative candy world is more funny and entertaining versus the actual setting of the show. I would love to see more of those, like the Gundam reference and the slice-of-life candy drama at the 2nd half. First half was kinda flat with the jokes, mostly because it's one of those seen-that-laughed-before type of joke. Second half was better. I miss the father from the first episode, that guy was something else. The protags themselves don't have that juice to tickle your funny bone. There's also this disconnect between culture I feel, from the Candy promotion and the skits based on the Candy, maybe it's nostalgic and relatable to the people who have grown up with this. But to me, I just stare blankly going "Ooooh, interesting back-story for the candy" but nothing more than that. Predictable plot is one thing but predicting the joke's punchline is another. This show is lighthearted and fun it's own way but I'm definitely not the target audience. |

| Episode that he can play his cards, unleashing some fetishes like meganekko and that of drunk girl after not even a sip of alcohol, but also taking advantage of some references to cult series and more, in short there for everyone. Drawings and animations are very good, good, Studio Feel! Characters more sympathetic. |

| Okay first ep was average, but this was...uhhh. Not a fan of malegaze camera, not even a single character is interesting, there does not seem to be any sort of coherent story and the weird crazyeyes character designs creepy me out like nothing else. Dropped. |
