Did Gintama run out of money or something? This episode was 75% stills and repeated animation.

Agreed. This arc was hell of a turn off.

The family! OMG LOL!!!

That was really funny!

So, the fox dude was the dude from the stall lol. And he lived!

The end with Hijikata! I thought Sougo had really killed him! the crazy boy but he counts them to try and get to sleep and it doesn't work. Wow, he has a sister!

Oh so the shop keeper old guy was the kitsune from the beginning, well that was kinda emotional for a hard-boiled episode xD

Hard boiled detective story concludes and it feels far better than the previous episode. The moving floor scene and harley davidson was the most memorable part. The detectives back story and the fox backstory is pretty good too.
If you enjoyed the time you wasted, then its not a waste of time.

Atleats the conclusion of the arc was good.
It was really a good episode if you company it to the last one. It was more funnier, more serious, more emotional and more hard-boiled.
Excited for Okita's past!

And yeah, "Harley Davidson"

Nice ending, but the hard-boiled guy is still annoying. Although this episode was funnier than the last one. That family coming down the path, lol.

Now the preview looks really good. With that sad OST, something important is going to happen so I can't wait.

The treadmill skit was genuinely one of the funniest things I've seen, not just from Gintama. The ending was also surprisingly touching for this kind of goofy story.

Definitely better than the last one! Why were people in the hallway anyway? In fact, why is any of these crazy things happening for no reason? I don't know, but it's funny!

The conveyor belt scene was funny. The family coming out of nowhere was so random lol. The fox's identity was obvious, but I'm kinda puzzled by the ending. He survived? Did the rest of the foxes survive too? Anyway seems like most people here prefer this episode to the last one, but I actually like the first episode of this arc more. The next episode (and arc) look great so I'm hyped to watch it!

I was disappointed they didn't let who died ambiguous. If it was ambiguous why the bodies were not recover it would have been better.
