| It’s so good when the anime adds depth to an already written story: I absolutely loved ep 11! I thought it would feel awkward watching the cave scene, but the way it was animated was chef’s kiss. Maomao was so beautiful today, and we saw how Jinshi is actually very well built. Even the lips (CPR moment) were detailed; the detail of his hands pressing her lower back, preventing her from getting away from him; and her eyes on him 🥹 it was wonderful to watch everything unfold! Does anyone know what Shishou said before Jinshi getting out from the lunch hall? |

Maomao whistled for Basen's dog but got a matchmaking frog instead. What a scene to end on though.

| Ending right before they are supposed to kiss(ik they won't), these cliffhangers are brutal. At first the scene of Gyokuyou and Jinshi fighting over Maomao was priceless. And how Gyokuyou was teasing him. Good to see Lihaku again. Don't call him dog this man is working hard for dream girl, simp maybe but dog is too much😭 But his dog is god boy go which maybe rescue them? Dk the reason behind Jinshi hiding his face. That Shisou dude is trying to stop that so tried to put him in heat literally and figuratively. He has maybe hired the assassins. At last peak Jinshi x Maomao content👍 Frog with great help, and did Maomao figure out something with falling on Jinshi body with probably a hard dick. Surely by next episode Jinshi secret will be revealed. I wonder howbit will impact their relation . But for now..  Yes cinema cinema... I also got hard seeing wet Maomao Jinshi👍 |

As I wrote above, I know more or less what the frog scene is about. I didn't know the scenes before the frog: the moment with jumping into the waterfall, undressing and falling is cliché for me. I don't have to wait a week for a new episode to express my opinion and emotions about this episode lol

| @MadanielFL Is that how Mao looks in the novel? Better than in the anime. In the anime she looks like a child next to Jinshi. They make her smaller than she looks. Here she is petite but still somewhat bigger and has a more mature face. |
| You can see they put some extra effort in the animation during the waterfall thing. lol And what a cliffhanger, the famous scene that everyone can't shut up about will be next week. Also can we talk more about that first scene with Gyokuyou, i love how she tease Jinshi. It was so funny. |

| @Jollyne7 Because i wanted to correct you in regards to the scene that you think was fully adapted although it ain't. The scene will get a continuation resulting in it actually being fully adapted in the upcoming episode, not today's one, cuz you said "i expected something better than this scene", when the scene hasn't even started yet, that's why i told you to review the scene when it's fully adapted, not when it just started, cuz you haven't even seen it fully animated yet, so how would you know if it's better or worse than whatever your expectations are? |

| unpopular opinion but i don't really like the romance part of the story, maomao just seems so disinterested that it makes jinshi come off as pushy and creepy. hopefully the dynamic starts to change but we're already 30+ episodes in and i still get the feeling she'd rather just be left alone LOL |

| Is the Maomao and Jinshi ship finally sailing? For how smart Maomao is usually, she's pretty dense when it comes to Jinshi's feelings, which is the funniest case of irony you can think of. As for what happened in this episode, Jinshi got summoned for a hunting game, and of course it was a setup to take him down, but fortunately, he was able to escape, with Maomao in tow as well. Then, the infamous frog scene showed up, as well as a fair bit of spicy moments, which I'm definitely not complaining about. Jinshi clearly trusts Maomao a lot and was willing to tell the secret behind his identity to her, but will he able to convey that in the end? What a brutal cliffhanger, and I can't wait for next week to see how this arc shapes up to be. |
