| Love the Hajime no Ippo references. XD -Hitman Style and Flicker jab by Nagatoro -Clinch and cross-arm block by Senpai -Dempsey roll by Senpai and Heart break shot by Nagatoro during the intermission Nagatoro doing those flicker jabs suits her well since she has jelly arms. XD And Senpai unconsciously clinching and doing the cross-arm block suits the character that was referenced too (Kobashi) since that fighter is a wimpy character just like Senpai. The fake date was nice since Sakura didn't have much screen time as compared to Gamo and Yoshi. Pres will finally appear next episode. |

| What the fuck man, why are these episodes just 5 minutes? Great episode! Gamo, Yoshi and Sakura are absolutely based wingwomen. They provoke Nagatoro's feelings while at the same time also fucking with her lmao. Man, Sakura is a dangerous weapon. Next episode and the remaining episodes will be great, can't wait for that arc. |

| Good episode. All of the skits were enjoyable and it looks like we’ve taken another small step toward the two getting together. Jealous Nagatoro is always fun to watch. |

| And another charming ep has passed yet again! You'd be lying if you've never shadowboxed after watching or reading Hajime no Ippo before. They really have a way of motivating the audience with their dramatic actions and Nagatoro is one of the many victims! Sakura's sabotaging manoeuvre ended up biting her back, one of the boys ended up stalking her for real, ofc eventually Nagatoro snuffed him out, but hehe, Senpai's pretend date with Sakura was both charming and hilarious, ofc the Nagatoro Friends would bet there to capture their moments. Speaking of which, I like how each characters' fashion taste resembles their personality, the neat and tidy Senpai, the extravagant and elegant Sakura, the sporty and athletic Nagatoro, the casual and funky Yoshi and the wild and unhinged Gamo. And finally... The character I've been wanting to see... Next ep we'll finally see her on-screen! |

| Nagatoro's expressions when Gamo-chan intervenes are more engaging than her bullying Paisen. Ooh I like Sakura's voice (I hope we see more of her) ah when fake dating becomes real, I've seen a couple of those. Paisen has plenty to choose from... |

| I waited for Senpai to impress Sakura in whatever way on the fake date, but Nagatoro destroyed everything by catching the stalker wimp on the spot. I like how her affection for Senpai grows each episode, this time her friends also noticed Nagatoro's odd behaviour. Of course I would like to see them as a couple, but it's probably not the intention of this anime/ manga. |

| This was it for me. This series didn't progress from the same slopy humor and stale relationship. I thought I could endure it till the end by watching it weekly since its will be short series, but it just went slightly above average and I can't even remember when was the last time it made me lough. |

| I'm so torn on this show. It would of really benefited from an actual plot! Not just about a girl who teases a guy because, "obviously" she likes him. That's literally the story, there has been 0 progression. The side characters are annoying besides Sakura. The best part of the episode was the beginning with Senpai letting Nagatoro find the dirty book, and the end with the pretend date. The piercing part was just stupid and uninteresting. Comedy doesn't really hit for me either, I just want to see some progress. 3/5 |

| Disappointed in Nagatoro, she should've shown the dempsey roll if she really watched Ippo. I kinda wanted to see Senpai go fully on a date there but I guess jealous Nagatoro would've interrupted it sooner or later any way. |

| I kinda feel bad about the 4 noisy gAmErs. But then one of them started stalking one of the girls. I like Nagatoro being teased by Gamo and Yoshi lol. At least Paisen went on a pretend date even if it's not with Nagatoro. Kind of ironic this loner guy's basically in a harem now. |
| So, about that Hajime no Ippo reference. By the time the Nagatoro manga was written, and especially by the time the anime was created, the Ippo anime would be older than Nagatoro herself by at least a few years. Not sure why, but that was my first immediate thought when, apparently, Nagatoro managed to get into it. |
