| How in the hell is Emilia winning this? Not that I'm mad or anything, but it's a fact that Rem is completely destroying her in popularity at this point, in both Japan and the West. It's not like this thread was made early on when most people were on her side either... Are they just not vocal about it because they know they'd get assaulted for preferring her? |
| Funny Rem destroyed every other character with huge difference in popularity in both east and west in the official popularity poll for the anime she got 54% out of the total votes and since then her popularity boost up even more even in Mal if you look at the actual member favorite for each character it's not even close I can understand if you want to know people opinions but seriously if we were asking about popularity then it's pointless it's obvious as day and Rem popularity in fact is ridiculous |

It is really interesting that Emilia is doing so well in this forum specifically, not even MAL as a whole. Rem is destroying Emilia in terms of number of favorites by almost 4000 (more than 3 times) and even in any other Asian forum (incl. Japanese) I go to, the Rem fanbase is ridiculous. I mean, if you go to /r/anime and type in "Emilia best grill' you will be bombarded with downvotes. (which is not the case if you say White whale, betelgeuse, or Patrasche best girl) I wonder why this forum particularly has more Emilia fans than anywhere else? |

Emilia best girl from my experience would just cause some controversy and generate discussion. I havent' seen comments that claim that Emilia is best being downvoted to oblivion though... Then again, I haven't checked the bottom of the comment threads. Kind of ironic how much Best Girl controversy this show is causing when the peak of the show was basically offset by emilia rejecting the "best girl" worship mentality. That is weird anyhow that Emilia has so many fans here. |

| Emilia, gentle, caring, super cute and has beautiful design in general ｡◕‿◕｡ Ram is second <3 and Beatrice probably third for being doriru-rori, even though I really disliked her at the beginning. Rem is okay of course, but there is nothing special about her imo. |
