| Hope it's the madhouse version :'( The 1997 Berserk television anime series will get a newly priced Blu-ray Disc release with the 2012 HD remaster. The manga is also going into hiatus until summer. |

An adaptation does not lessen the quality of the manga does it? I always find it silly when people think a bad adaptation "sullies" the original work. It doesn't change jackshit. Also maybe this'll be a high quality work and rather true to the manga's artwork even. I doubt it but hey there's always hope. |

| It's great that they seem to be working on an actual continuation in the animation department, but I'm kinda bummed that the manga has been put on hiatus again, only to follow it up as 'irregular release' in the summer of 2016. At this rate, I'm really not seeing this manga end well with its story, if at all. In any case, I'm very curious to see what they will do with this project. The CGI didn't bother me nearly as much as it did with most people, but it would nice if they left it out this time around. Also, please have Susumu Hirasawa as music composer, I beg you. That guy did such a great job with the OST for the anime and the movie trilogy theme. |

| It'll probably be a sequel to the movies covering the lost children arc, won't it? I could care less about that tbh, so I'm just disappointed by the news of the new hiatus... Only way I could get excited for a new Berserk anime is a long running remake done by a good studio. By the time it catches up to the manga, Miura would have hopefully pumped out a bunch of new chapters... |

It's much simpler to adapt Eiji Yoshikawa's "Musashi" novel, that manga is based upon (although there's some changes). Not to mention that it's in Public Domain already (I think). |

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Ushio to Tora ,Parasyte are fucking brilliant. i appretiate remakes. it really kicks in the nostalgia. now that D GRay Man and Berserk getting remakes. WHY THE HELL NOT SOMEONE REMAKE RUROUNI KENSHIN??? RK was one of my most favorite manga of all time, but the origianal apaption by deen was mediocre at best. hell. they didnt even finished the manga and completely ruined the anime in 3rd season by crappiest fillers.
