There's a fine line between the two.. HUGE + for not having any stupid fanservice even though it was a beach episode. I'm honestly amazed that they dared to NOT show more skin. | This is such a wonderful show! I guess it's appropriate I use that word since they used "wonderful" so many times in this episode. I like how they show the characters' personalities unlike Mushishi or Kino no Tabi. Akari is probably my favorite character. The way she's always smiling and looking at the good even when times get hard is beautiful. This really is the perfect show to watch at a slow pace and especially right before bed~ |

| Wonderful episode that transcends the beach episode stereotype because instead of a bad taste result, we get another fitting end. That's what I find unique about this series; not even a beach episode can ruin it. |

| This beach episode was fun, the banter was perhaps even better than so far! And it was also legitimately heartwarming. I reached maximum relaxation levels at the moment where Aika and Alice fell asleep while Akari was going on about her past. That's not to say Akari reminiscing wasn't interesting, because it was. In addition to the memory about the lost ribbon, I think it's implied that there's more where that came from. Also, I wonder what the ribbon could represent. The obvious answer is that it's a code for Akari's ability to believe in impossible things, but I don't know. Alicia is the best, I think I was the most touched when she told Akari that she's wonderful because she prefers to see the good in everything. |

| This episode made me emotional.. felt very nostalgic, reminded me of the time I had been to the beach and other places that sparked wonder in me.. like Akari, what more do you need when you are surrounded by so much wonder? I desperately want to go the beach, wanted to join the characters and spend time with them in the sea.. feel the sand beneath my feet, float in the sea, feel, hear, taste the waves. The time when ribbon comes back to Akari brought tears to my eyes too.. will I see the places of wonder I believed in as a child too? Miraculous show about miraculous world with miraculous characters <3 sorry for the embarrassing commentary :'D  |

| The hell? Akari going to the uninhabited island using only a small rowing boat? There is even no explanations on how can she go there, alone, wading the vast ocean. Surely, Akari somewhat right at the a mysterious girls with supernatural shit lineage. I mean, Wth with that sea creature that is appear so similar to the earth one? No explanations, again, such a ashame seeing all of them together with nonsense. I know this is fantasy, but hey, this is SciFi too. Why not explain that to go far, so i can get into the world with more enthusiast? Well, whatever than. Nevermind my babbling! |

| I personally don't like "jokes" about Akira.. If her being bothersome commander is supposed to be a joke - I don't enjoy it, really.. Could be nice fanservice episode instead, really.. But we get whatever time with Akira instead.. Well, maybe later in the episode.. Ok, second half is better.. Hm, you can't swim in the sea anymore on Earth?.. Interesting to know.. Wonder land, hm.. |
| I enjoyed this a lot and it helped me get more into the show, honestly. People may be saying 'oh there's that ubiquitous bathing suit/beach episode'...Though, I don't feel the creators made this for fan service or to sexualize the characters. I truly felt it was done with modesty and tact which made it endearing and sweet. I really love Alicia, she's definitely my favorite in this show. Akira yelling at Aika to smile was pretty funny. Beautiful and deep. |
| Such a wonderful episode. Honestly, watching this anime at the end of the day is so healing and relaxing. Also, I agree with what others have said - "the world looks wonderful when it's reflected in the eyes of a wonderful person" - such a sweet thing to say. Alicia is definitely my favourite character in the show. |
| They went into an island the person who invited them refer to as Neverland. Akari thought it was something fun. Little did they know it'w a training camp. Wonderful quote for the day:  |

| Rewatching before going to Venice at the end of this week! I LOL'd at sexy and dynamite (perfect delivery) and then teared up when Akari's ribbon came back. |
