That sentiment more or less summarizes Ousama Game's greatest issue, it's impossible to get engaged with the characters. It presents the classical psychological horror idea of "what would you do if you were in this situation", but because the characters are so unbelievably stupid it falls totally flat. But Ousama Game doesn't stop at simple idiotic characters, they're intentions come off as misguided making them seem like assholes. This is especially bad with Nobuaki; even the people he claims to be friends with he treats horribly. Maybe if this show had better writing the characters wouldn't make it so painful to watch, which is tragic considering the concept is pretty interesting. |

| This is getting annoying, why don’t they just adapt either the first game or the second game??? Don’t do both, it’s pointless giving these flashbacks, as we know all of them aside Nobuaki die. The characters from the second game barely get any screentime ffs. No wonder this anime got a very low score. But still this anime is really depressing, more than Danganronpa. I really feel bad for Nobuaki. | As stupid and over the top dramatic this show can get, I have to admit that Nami's death assuming she died at the end was quite sad. Kinda feel bad for Nobuaki. At times i am so aware it is just voice acting by mamoru trying to act out the emotions, especially when he speaks with a shaking voice in sorrowful remorseful tone, like in the last episode when he bashed himself for using "evil magic" to influence the outcome of the vote. i really like it when he voices goofy character with over the top personality, or plain confident badass/villain. may be this kind of character is just not his forte. Omg you know what that’s exactly it. His voice is more for a goofy character like Masaomi from Drrr!! Or an arrogant jerk. Even a pretty boy. But this weak- conflicted-no-personality-generic MC is just not doing it |

| Why do I still watch this? I really don't know.. All the characters are stupid. But this isn't the only problem. There's a more important question. Why do they mixing s1 and s2? I really want to know why they're doing this. It's already ep4 but we don't really get anything from what's going on s1 and s2. And this will last only 12eps, lol. |
| Man, are they going to keep trying to fit two storylines into 12 episodes? The main plotline is not even going forward. If there is ONE flashback that should be happening in this episode is the one showing how Nobuaki knows about the village, that would fit better. This Nami flashback would make a LOT more sense in last week episode when Kenta was being super stupid about ordering himself to protect the girl. I mean, the same thing happened before with one of Nobuaki's dead friends and he doesn't even call out the guy...wtf bro. And, whose cellphone Natsuko found? Nobuaki's? |
