| I liked the music a lot. Also as a fan of nisiOisin I can't help but notice that this time characters are a bit too cliche for my liking. Normally this guy can pull out very nice characters so my hopes were high. Apparently i didn't read manga version so it was my first time with the gang here. There is some super-ego arrogance that can be totally hot and there is the kind of arrogance that is totally appalling. Unfortunately the main chara falls into the second group. There were a few moments that I thought I might actually like her, but all in all she didn't get through to me. I plan to watch few more eps and then I will decide if I will drop it or not. |

| I can't get past the fact that Medaka's tits were flash stepping when she was owning those punks in the Dojo. That said, this was better than I thought it would be considering my disdain for anime with outrageous fanservice. 4/5, with intent to continue watching. |

| I really don't like too much ecchi, but the title and the review look interesting, so I saw the first episode. It was fun. The OSt is really great. |
| I was a bit worried how they would do it but in the end liked it quite a lot. I don't think the fanservice is exaggerated either, it pretty much suits the show and manga was not innocent in any aspect. On the other hand......Aki as Medaka is a huge disappointment for me. It doesn't suit the character at all. (Why did they even change it....for popularity? Meh.) Well at least Shiranui's voice really hit it off well with me. OP and ED were kinda disappointing. The kinda weak guys that gets into trouble or even danger because of a woman they either love or knew since they were kids. And then we have the woman of course...the strong sexy leadership-type that can also be pretty soft and nice. It's just all the same... Maybe because Zenkichi is NOT like that. I hope you can find your eyes for next episode at least. |

| I never say this cause even if a anime is so-so I'll still enjoy watching it... but I found myself yawning to this show idk what it is but I don't find it very appealing.... I'll keep watching though |

| I didn't got bored because I was too busy pausing every 10 seconds to read the whole sentence, may be I am slow or perhaps they talk a lot D: Anyway this should be called Medaka Boobs, that sure is a lot of fanservice xD but it's gainax after all and this wasn't that bad :) |

| Oh well, this is predictable, stale and not 1% endearing in any way. During blondie's parting speech, he says something like "I knew it was going to turn out like this" and "I'm in love with annoying female too", and I just couldn't stop myself from saying "YES, we know, it was obvious-from-space level of obvious". May the next episode impress me. 2/5. |

| It was boring, but not bad. The hook is just a bit more subtle than I'd usually expect from the opening episode of something from Shounen Jump. Medaka's super pushy and meddling and she assumes she has the right and responsibility to fix everyone's problems because she's so perfect. Okay, that much is obvious after the first minute. Then the setting becomes more interesting when Zenkichi turned out to be more special than he first appeared, at least a super strong fighter for taking out that national level kendo guy with his bare hands. So the characters are a super talented girl who can't understand the point of view of normal people and the super talented guy who can't consider anything about himself special despite being talented after always feeling inferior to Medaka. And add to that how Zenkichi is in love with Medaka and admires everything about her way of doing things and on the other had how Medaka wants other people to worry about her like Zenkichi does and the situation is pretty interesting. I think that would have come through stronger if Medaka's personality and the way she assumes she knows everything about everyone and she is able to save anyone had been made an issue rather than a source of inspiration and admiration to everyone, but I might like this one better, it's more subtle and has more potential. I just hope this doesn't mean the whole anime is going to be about her one-sidedly saving the world, though. The soundtrack is pretty bad, honestly. Nothing good in this episode, but a promising set up. 3/5 |

| I liked this episode a lot although I dislike ecchi. Actually, I didn't think there was too much fanservice here and it was bearable. tbh it seemed funny to me. XD Medaka is a badass, what's a good surprise (and I didn't see it coming). The main male is funny and they make a nice couple together (which is rare for me to say about leads). This looks very promising. |

This looks very promising. I have the exact same impression. I had a large amount of reservations coming into this episode, thinking it would be brainless fanservice, but they kept it to a minimum. The bouncing breasts was a little unsettling... but aside from that, the characters are fun to watch and the idea premise has potential. The music is quite good too (sounds like a JRPG for some reason). Just hoping they don't decide to tone up the BLATANT fanservice. (True fanservice for me is seeing characters I love in different costumes, just like in the Tales of series.) |

| Oh wow. this was truly boring. I never had to force myself to finish an anime episode. Is this show really going to be long running? Kind of pisses me off how shows like this have long adaptations while more deserving anime get stuck with 13-25 episodes. smh |

People comes into this series with all kind of expectations, some of them who didn't read the manga might not be looking for an action shounen. So dropping it as early as episode 1-3 might actually be a good thing for many people. I certainly thought it was going to be something like melancholy of haruhi, except instead of sci-fi but a bit more fights. What I got was a full frontal assaults of fights after the first few episodic chapters. That could really throw people off more than the mediocre episodic setting of the first few chapters. |
| Haven't had time to read this manga but I've really been wanting to cuz I knew it would be great. Guess I'll just follow the anime for now though. This first episode was great and I loved it, made me laugh a few times too. Medaka is ftw :D and I love the relationship she and Zenkichi have. All the characters seems great so far, I can't wait for the rest of the crew to be introduced. Really looking forward to more of this. Hoping this will won't be a 12 episode thing and will run on for a long time, like that 45 episodes rumor. |

| OH MY GAWD THE MAIN MALE PROTAGONIST IS LEFT-HANDED I FEEL SO CONNECTED! Anywho it was a decent episode. Seems like Medaka can whip any guy into shape. :o Nothing to amazing but it kept me watching. Thought it was going to be a normal type of high school student council anime but then they through like fucking God Medaka in my face holding the Earth in the palm of her hand. lol Well hopefully it gets better as it goes on!. Will be keeping tabs on this! |

| I'm a huge fan of the manga (I've been wondering why since forever) so I was kind of happy and kind of worried what they'd do. Fortunately I like the first episode. What especially caught my attention is the foreshadowing in the OP (like it), my favourite character Shiranui being really awesomely voiced and animated, and finally the voice of Medaka being so very... ... ... ... bland. Seriously. The exact opposition of what I expected! It's KUROKAMI MEDAKA, guys, there's absolutely nothing bland about her and there shouldn't be! And yet hearing her voice is like hearing hundreds of voices I've already heard in other anime combined into the most unimpressive one ever. But yeah, that's just my impression and it doesn't bother me that much. Anime is good, gonna watch it. Thought it was going to be a normal type of high school student council anime Oh gosh, prepare to be surprised. OH MY GAWD THE MAIN MALE PROTAGONIST IS LEFT-HANDED I FEEL SO CONNECTED! Makes me wonder how people with blood type AB react to this series. It's the only blood type in this series' universe. |
