| Fair because the characters were jumbled.😕 The episode was too much bloody but I didn't understand how did the people heals even after too much injuries. 😮 |

| durarara got me here and i didn't read the synopsis before watching it. result: i didn't understand a thing. but weirdly, i feel it's gonna make sense as i keep watching it. idk why but i got the same vibe as i got in cowboy bebop. and good japanese lord, where do this people get these names from???? |

| A jumbled mess with gratuitous gore, dialogue and actions that mean nothing at this point. I felt approximately nothing except that I was happy to hear Koyasu Takehito voicing Luck. Not sure what sort of response one is 'supposed' to have to this. Well, I'm still a bit curious about the 18th century stuff and most of the music was comparatively good. All in all, I'd say it was "OK". Wait, "Comedy"? I'm guessing that side has yet to show up. Nothing in this episode was even remotely funny (silly though). |

Ok, very confusing first episode but I think I kinda got the hang of it. It's a massive story that contains various elements of it's creators'choice, right? Because if it isn't then I officially didn't understand xD It was a somewhat graphic episode. Kid's head exploding, the severed/dismembered hand, cut fingers.... Not that I don't like explicit content, it's just that it surprised me =D |

| Not really impressed. I rarely enjoy shows in which they throw a dozen or more characters at you and you have no idea who any of them are or what the Hell is going on. Maybe things will start to make sense, but right now I'm just kinda like, huh?? |

| There's a lot of disarray happening all at once in this first ep. Very confusing, hard to keep up with, but some scenes piqued my interest :3 It's highly rated and got a unique Western vibe, so I'll continue. |

| I can't possibly think of a worse idea for a first episode. throw a billion characters at you, no context, boring fucking conversations and character designs, with boring backdrops and art, boring music, etc. I kept watching to see how much time was left because I wanted it to end so badly. |

| Hard to tell what's going on tbh, so there are a group of immortal people and they show different characters (too much, but hey) but don't really understand what it was trying to tell. Well I will continue watching it maybe things will become more clear. Music is good at least. |
| Been a very long time since I've seen Baccano so my memories of it are a bit hazy. The first episode was okay. I like the unconventional approach of going with the ending first and then going backwards to the past and connect different events to one point which is this, makes the story feel mysterious and exciting to piece the puzzle together. The visuals were a bit weaker than I expected though, looked somewhat average in terms of execution but not bad either. Hoping to enjoy more Isaac and Miria in the upcoming episodes! |
