| I can't blame Zenitsu for running away. After this episode I know why I by myself hate spiders. There's something which disgust me a lot and seeing a spider with a human head is just to crazy.... Great that we finally got a background story. So Zenitsus grandfather was also one of the pillars. No wonder he trained Zenitsu so hard. I guess being scared, running away and not believing in himself are also things he can't stop. And that despite he's so fucking strong. The animation of that short fight was absolute crazy. But now it's a race against time. I warn you Zenitsu, don't die! Tanjirou and Inosuke finally met one of the 12 moons. What in the world is this face? How can someone call this his/her father? Disgusting..... Just from the first impression I also don't think they will be able to beat this guy. |

| Thank god we actually get some decent characterisation for Zenitsu. Ok episode overall, wish antagonists wouldn't describe EVERYTHING that's going on like the viewers don't have eyes. |
| Glad to see Zen destroying that demon and getting the much needed backstory! Really love his style and the comedy around him doesn't fall short on me. |

Do Zenitsu really need to yell wherever he goes constantly? After he showed up every mcs in the show literally talk in a shouting voice. Glad that the demon of the episode does not get another stupid flashback this episode like the other ones which is a total waste of time on some unimportant random villain that only live for 1~2 episodes. x2 Basically every action scene is replaced with motivational flashbacks and monologues... Too much drama and flashbacks. I miss those previous ep 10 vibes. |

| Oh well, Zenitsu, got a thunder clap! So, thats technique of breathing really served a real thunder. Interesting power for a wimp like him. Just, stop your yelling, goddamned it! Even his flashback really can't take his mark as an annoyance character from me. Thats it. So, at last, Papa spider demon just appeared. Maybe the next episode Giyu would come? Idk. Lets just see it, then! |

| What the fuck was this cliche ass garbage lol jesus christ everytime i start to enjoy the show they throw one of these cheesy ass episodes that just kills the whole momentum. Showing us a generic sad boy backstory to try to tearjerk and guilt your viewers into feeling sorry for this annoying ass pussy is not how you do character development buddy. |

| I'll have to admit that despite not being arachnophic like my mom who'd throw her phone at the screen if she saw Spider-Boy, his gigantic spider body and his mutated minions were very unnerving indeed. Zenitsu might be overwhelmingly loud most of the time but I really like it whenever he musters all the courage he has in him to live on and fight for the sake of others. His character and personality being fleshed out more as he fights also did a good job of making him a more likable character even if I think that there could've been a better way to incorporate it without interrupting the flow of his badass fight. They still have the dad and two other menacing children to defeat! |

| amazing development, i loved this episode. zenitsu ♡♡♡♡♡ poor sweet boy. love to see how OP he is whenever he “falls asleep” lolollllll & that was a great backstory. he could easily my favourite character, but i just can’t stand the shouting & nonstop “I’m afraid” gag, it’s too overused at some point. the VA is amazing when he’s not shouting tho |

| So it Zenitsu basically honed that one move close to perfection, probably making his body automatically use it as defence mechanism...sounds believable. Can't believe Zenitsu changed his haircolor to yellow by getting struck by lightning, most people die when getting struck. |

| Damn you have to feel bad for zenitsu. Every time I see the lightning breathing style I have goosebumps but this episodes just multiplied it six folds. |

| This was probably my favorite episode so far. I like how it focused on Zenitsu mostly, and yeah he's a one note joke but he actually has depth which I thought was masterfully done. I hope he continues to grow braver and more confident little by little. |

| The Zenitsu story was nice and he had his cool moment with ufotable doing it justice, paced pretty well too. If I wasn't annoyed by Zenitsu for so long before this episode, maybe this would have been a really good episode. But this story while good for this episode, seems like the kind that doesn't play an effect past this episode for a long time with his character development. Backstories and moments like these are normally great for influencing long-term character development and I'm not quite so sure this was the case, but at least it wasn't a boring episode. Still my least favorite character of the series though. |

| zenitsus constant futile attempts at being the comedic relief is really fucking ticking me off it completely destroys any sense of urgency or suspense during battles and feels so out of place. |
