| I had no idea Winnie-the-Pooh was a relative of Tony the Tiger. He's been working out. I love Yuuji's wise-cracks, I had a hard time not laughing: "They're masturbating." "Who called a stripper to my room? Today's not my birthday. " Something tells me none of these girls are ordinary. The protagonist looks to be a soldier or merc, one girl attacks other by knife-point upon meeting, another is able to pick locks, and another seems to be tinkering with what looks like an explosive device. Are they out to kill him? Looks like this is going to be a serious anime disguised as an "ordinary" school comedy. |
| About the whole comparing the fanservice to the visual novel, the majority of the game used character sprites or whatever... so I doubt you wouldn't even be able to tell if there was a panty shot or two in certain scenes. The manga had a lot of fanservice if that means anything though. |

As for the individual routes, there was just too much bullshit in there sometimes, for example: Still, I liked Amane's and Michiru's route in the end. Especially Michiru's route was pretty nice because I really liked her character and how it developed, despite some stupid plot elements. But, all in all, it wasn't anything outstanding or mind-blowing in my opinion. "G-Senjou no Maou" or "Sharin no Kuni" were similar and also had a bad-ass protagonist, but there, the stories made much more sense and were really awesome, especially the first one. |

| The animation/art is pretty poor for a 1-cour season so let's hope it will be a 2-cour season instead of the former. I know I'm gonna like Michiru the first time I saw her character design and I wasn't disappointed ^^. I'll keep watching this for now. |

| You know I just don't understand some people when your a guy anime watcher and complain about fan service then that basically insults you and every other dude that exists because there the opposite sex unless your in to the same sex but when you do it for the story I can understand but still a lot of people complain about just littlest amount of it and you wanna know why i'm saying all of this because most people who watched this were guys and are complaining about it imo it was not enough to make people go that far it was a nice episode now I can understand if it was little girls but damn these are older girls girl viewers I can understand tho. with that aside I can say that I loved this episode bad ass main character and Amane as well. |

| That was pretty good! This is probably the one anime where I've played the VN of since I don't play generally play VNs all that much. In a way it kind of sucks since I'd rather look at an anime as stand-alone but I guess this has it's own appeal. Haven't played Sachi,Makina & Michiru's route anyway so those will be new to me,assuming they'll adapt all of them and it certainly looks like it - didn't expect so much foreshadowing from the 1st ep. Of course it's not all a bed of roses with the horrible white ray of doom censorship. Seriously, I thought those were a thing of the past and hair or objects would be used instead. Must we seriously go back to it?...Then there's also the numerous panty shots which were so unnecessary,seeing that there are better fanservice scenes to choose. Yuuji walking in Amane for instance,that wasn't bad - or wouldn't have been if it wasn't for that awful censoring. Anyway,good 1st ep,I'm definitely looking forward to this :) |

| Amane is as perfect as always and god Michiru's expressions were hilarious. I'm satisfied with the animations. I loved the part at the end with all the foreshadowing. |

| Did anybody notice that the last girl that appeared was just like Senjougahara from Monogatari? Still, for being a 1st chapter it's not that bad. I hope it doesn't ruin itself with stupid romance or extreme harem or tons of fanservice. Just sayin' |

| I mean, I was expecting fanservice but still... Geez. VN BGMs made me nostalgia. It seemed to play out pretty similar to the VN in most ways. The little preview into each character at the end was a nice touch, but overall, just a pretty straightforward adaptation so far. Jury's still out. |

| Holy crap, I was not expecting this anime to be at all serious, I thought it was going to be some normal slice of life. This is definitely interesting though, glad I decided to watch this. Spoiler for a different anime (sorta). Main character seems pretty cool and likeable as well. Guess it's time to continue watching his "ordinary" school life XD. |

| The animation was good i'll give them that, but other than that this has nothing else going for it. Main character dude is very unlikeable and seems like a rip off fusion of tatsuya and araragi except hes not cool. This one was closest to being dropped so far this season, will probably regret not dropping. Felt like watching a visual novel instead of playing one, who knew I would dislike that Empty classroom > still sits in back seat corner |

| Wow, this was really good for some reason, hope it stays that way. Wondering whether he killed some people as an assassin and the girls lost someone due to him and want revenge on him or something. Could be completely wrong though. |

I understand everyone is hyped and they feel the need to convey those feelings somehow, but refrain from giving spoilers or discussing the events of the VN itself - this is about the episode 1 of the anime, not the source material. If there is a need to include a certain detail of the VN, then at least use proper spoiler tag when necessary. -- As for the thoughts on the episode itself; I'm personally somewhat disappointed with what they've done with Yuuji's build. He was supposed to be this light buff but overall slim guy, not that super muscular form as shown (not complaning btw). The transition between the OSTs seems somewhat out of sync and the amount of panty shots got distracting and unnecessary at many points that I'm sure it gave a "this is a generic harem" feel to it, which again - didn't see it working very well. All of that aside, the pace felt very natural, and the twist at the end was a very nice thing to keep others hooked up and excited for next episode without a melodramatic cliffhanger. I was skeptical of Yuuji's VA but he's starting to grow on me, and I believe they did a fair job portraying Yuuji and the other girls as they should. There is also a possibility the scenes removed from the VN might come back in another way (just like it happened in the manga) but I'm not holding my breath for that. Overall I'm satisfied, will definitively check out BDs when they're out since we might get longer running time and, hopefully, some fixes to the "quality" animation bits. |

| It was overall an okay episode imo. its at least a six for me. Could've been a 7 or 8, but i think they kinda revealed too much for the 1st episode. They kinda revealed Yuuji's 'Job' and they gave just a bit of spoilers for the girls. They should've at least kept quite about Amane's connection with Yuuji's sister's death. The fanservice? What the heck is up with that?! Seriously, it's somewhat annoying. Other than that, it was pretty much spot-on to the VN. The animation was very nice and smooth too. Can't wait for the next episode! |

| I'm only a few hours into the VN, but it was nice to see it all animated. I'll most likely wait until I finish the VN before I pick this back up. It gets pretty damn dark I see. I haven't gotten that far yet. Looking forward to it! |

| I can tell it's gonna be one of those shows where everyone has some sort traumatic past and it's the MC job to slove their problems. As least the MC isn't some clueless loser, like most harem/ero characters are. |

My first gut reaction too was that they shouldn't have done so much foreshadowing (especially showing future developments instead of just bits from the girls' pasts) but it is probably necessary to mark the animes territory as 'not another generic harem' because most viewers are impatient when deciding if they are going to like something or not. That sequence at the end probably boosted viewer retention quite a lot. I want it to succeed and the first episode has to capture people. |
