has anyone heard of an s&m pervert that is what nana and ren were doing with the choking and sex and enjoying it.. im not gonna lie that um freaked me out a little bit but i guess people like what they like anyways ren doing drugs was no suprise to me he seemed like a druggie... lastly nana expression to when reira was coming to hug her PRICELESS!!!

Nana&Ren's relationship is seriously giving me chills...after hearing about the padlock that Ren wore around his neck, I listened to the Sex Pistols...and read about Sid Vicious. Him and his girl were real screwed up...drugs, addictions..but they couldn't live without each other. They took a suicide pact. Sid died before he turned 25...just as he predicted. Thinking Ai took some of what Sid and Nancy went through, in creating these two amazing characters. It makes me happy to see them together. And they do, in a way, fill the emptiness each other felt. I guess Nana was afraid to face him, and depended on Yasu to protect her from being sucked into Ren's love.
..was she afraid of the pain she could feel after losing another loved one?

Ren finally proposed to Nana. Hachi became a totally meaningless characters in the show and that's wonderful. Loved this episode.

Nobody really mentions that, but I'm quite worried about Ren.. being on drugs (again?) he seems like loosing it, Nana should stay by his side, it's his only hope. Sure, he has Yasu, but that's different.

Was it mentioned before that Yasu and Ren were both in an orphanage? It looks like only Hachi had a normal family. Even Nobu wanted to leave his family for a reason. Maybe there's the key to Hachi's behavior?

Everyone seems to like that girl Nobu is going for now. But she seems too shallow for him. And he still remembers about Hachi, though probably not so warmly anymore.

Will this have a proper ending? 3 episodes seems to be so little.

I knew something was up when Ren was sleeping in the bathtub a few episodes back... I'm glad Yasu confronted him the way he did. Nana is frustrating me a bit now, she's forcefully trying to convince herself to push Ren away when both her mind and body disagree. If they do get married, it would even put an end to most of the scandal, and they will both potentially be more stable. Though Yasu would still be forever exploited... and we know that he's good enough to sacrifice forever, which in itself can be bad to be so selfless... so I guess it's still not perfect. But what really can be perfect? We saw how Nobu, Takumi and Hachi turned out.

3 episodes left? Though it's a bit sad, I'm looking forward to see how they're going to end the anime.

In general a pretty nice episode the part where both groups meet was pretty funny! Let's see what happens next!

I knew Ren was going to propose to Nana, but still... that was such a "D'AWWWWWW" moment.

I still don't like Hachi, but honestly, it feels like this relationship has matured both her and Takumi while giving them both much needed stability. It's sad how everything worked out, but I think the show is getting around to the point that everything really DOES work out for the best, even if it seems like a devastating tragedy at the time.

I just hope Nobu hooks Miyu. ;-;

What is it with this birthdays and zodiac signs?

Naoki and Nobou are a little alike, and both don't have girlfriends at the end of story :( and Yasu also :(

Ren can't handle being away from Nana, surviving those two years must've been really hard. I'm glad he proposed to her, hopefully their relationship turns out great! Shin's and Reira's relationship is just the cutest thing ever, it's just so innocent and cute. Hopefully no one interferes with their relationship. Really nice episode, I'm hoping this anime gets a happy ending.

I'm highly concerned for Ren... I didn't know he was having such a rough time without Nana. I thought the extent of his sulking was only sleeping in hotel bathrooms but I think I missed something. Yasu is such a good friend and could tell immediately that something was off. Is Ren doing hard drugs or something???? His arm shaking like that didn't seem okay.

On a lighter note, I hope Reira and Shin can see each other!! I saw Shin plotting his visit to Reira lol

I'm glad ren drug addiction was mentioned in the anime, even if it was a small mention.
In the manga is was so clear that ren was suffering from his addiction, and that this addiction was pretty bad. In the anime it was talked about only once, and that's it..like it wasn't a big deal. But if someone remember, in episode 42 layla found ren passed out in the bathtub, it was because of drugs..she even briefly saw something in the toilet, it was drugs..he either taken them, or tried to stop in that episode, but couldn't because he was on drug's again in 44. Read about his character on wiki, there's more information about the drug addiction, but that information mostly about the Manga and all..If you look at the reason ren is addicted is sort off combination of his childhood and being away even for short time from the woman he loves, Nana.

when nana realized yasu's loyalties lied with ren... and then she said there's no one left to save her from her obsession with ren... and right at that moment nobu appeared on the scene... wonder if that's a coincidence or what. it would make for cool foreshadowing

i cringed so hard at shin and reira in the van. this is one of the most disgusting things i've seen in anime. a Child in 10th grade and a woman who's the same age as a college graduate. that's disgusting.

uhhh yeah didn't realize ren had some kind of drug addiction. they won't explicitly say he has some drug addiction but they'll show a 15 year old in bed with a 22 year old. ok.

not that i'm some kind of expert on sid vicious' life but i hope ren and nana's relationship isn't gonna be mimicking his and nancy's - bc it almost seems like it's going down that path with the way ren talks about dying & his apparent drug addiction now

So Ren's answer to this relationship crisis was to propose? Jesus. Honestly, this story is filled with people who do not communicate with each other, them getting engaged will not do good for either of them. Ren is obviously in a bad shape, taking drugs, and basically on the edge. Not to mention that Nana is emotionally unstable. It seems like she wanted to have an excuse to end this relationship but she just couldn't do it and was sucked further in. Ugh.

Reira and Shin....Reira is using Shin to make her feel better about herself, while still being in love with that idiot Takumi. When this relationship gets exposed, it will break Shin. He is 15 and getting used up for sex. I get that Reira is broken and lonely but she also doesn't have any resolve to make her situation better.

I am so sick of Junko, she always has such toxic words disguised as a piece of advice. She is a horrible friend to Nana.
